xxBOUNTYxxHUNTER You're not supposed to depend on driving videos alone to learn to drive but it is still important and facilitates practical driving. It does help. As far as I'm concerned this video is far from silly it's accurate. It's theory. First the theory then the practical.

I am so glad I do not need to keep watching these LDC videos as thanks to one of their instructors based in Kent (Ian Cross) I passed first time, been driving now for 3 months and my world has changed. If you are watching this video as you want to learn to drive I personally highly recommend these guys. I tried RED first and was not impressed and was gonna give up then I heard about Ian and he got me through everything quickly and professionally. Thank LDC and Thanks Ian.

This video makes me even more nervous to drive. There are so many elements to driving, I don't know how people can do it all. I'm 22 years old and I've been taught how to drive a few times but I was so uncomfortable each time and terrified of hitting something or pressing the wrong pedal or forgetting to do something.

Remember the instructor is with you at all times, they have as much control over the car as yourself. Over time you’ll get over the fear of hitting something or stalling. A lot of road users are also pretty decent with letting you take time or they’d give you more room on the roads etc. I know this is an old comment now but I hope you somehow overcame the worries and you now a driver! :)

This might seem a bit too basic and obvious to some people. But I've never driven before, my parents don't drive and I don't often get lifts from friends who drive so I'm actually pretty unfamiliar with cars so it's nice to have a super-basic intro to things. I knew most of it to be fair, but it's still good to be clear.

DO NOT press the button when applying the handbrake!!! BAD BAD BAD!!! The click sounds indicate if the handbrake is securely applied or not!! If you don't hear the clicks, the handbrake is NOT secured!! When you press the button, you eliminate the ONLY source from where you can make sure that the handbrake is on. (The dash lamp is NOT always right!!)
@sribrindhakrishnamoorthy656610 жыл бұрын
yes had the same doubt. Good that someone spoke about it here. I never press the button while applying brake (pulling up). Its only used when releasing the hand break. Without pressing it , its difficult to bring the brake lever down
