I don't convert units, I just put the units in the parameter table and let fusion convert.

The part about aligning and different origins was very confusing. What are we doing there, and why?

Each Component in Fusion 360 has its own coordinate system. Fusion keeps track of where those are in relation to the top level origin of the design. In general you want to use symmetry so the origin would be at the center of your design, but when you are importing reference as a basis for a design that can be tricky. I was merely mentioning that you want to use symmetry in general but in this case we aren't because we are basing the design off the pcb inserted. Does that help?

@@feelfreefpv Nah, i just sort of was talking about all the different ways things can be done.... I will be making a new plastic part design series this year and will try to be more focused with it.
