Thank you Alexa, I have been in Tahiti for almost 5 months serving a mission...learning the French has been so overwhelming...boy, have I cried! It is ...sad to be in a place where you can't communicate...not even with children let alone adults. I have been watch your videos...you have a way of making it seem so much easier! I left school 13 years ago believing I wasn’t capable of learning another language as the way my teachers would explain this type of thing to me didn’t make sense. Morning Alexa, today I finally grasped after 7yrs of listening, learning and living in France why I never really get your videos, now today and finally with my eyes wide open I at last have seen the light. I'm liking this channel a lot. I'm using an online language app to learn some French for my trip to France in 2025 and while I'm finding the app useful it lacks explanations I'm looking for when choosing the correct word. This channel helps me learn why I would use certain word such as en vs au vs aux. The app will just tell me I'm wrong and give the right answer without explaining why. Knowing why helps me learn faster and retain the knowledge longer.
