Many of his trees, in the more impressionist style of work, take on somewhat human characteristics in spiritual ways. Absolutely beautiful, thank you.

I've loved Inness for years, and it's so great to see so many paintings together on a lit computer screen. His work, especially his later work, transcends the genre of landscape painter of any school. He discovered the connection between the inner life of nature and the inner light of ourselves.

I love that. "transcends the genre of landscape painter"

What an absolute resource these videos are. I've been interested in Inness's work for awhile, but would only seem to find it occasionally reproduced in books or rarely in person in a museum. To see the work in such depth really deepens my admiration for it.

Great to discover other wonderful artists away from the over beaten path of contemporary art...George Inness had a great sense of light...and a true enthusiasm for nature...thank you so much for this...

A lot of variety there. Some paintings make others look like sketches!

Jade, to me there is often a melancholy or an almost terrifying quietude even to some of his works, something so raw and enigmatic. Most cannot deny his unique vision and talents. He is world renowned even though many are often unaware.
