Thank you for this video. I'm seeing my cardiologists today and don't know what to expect. My primary thinks I have POTs and your experience has eased my nerves about going.

I know this is old, but sorry to hear that you suffer with POTS. My little one has a few neurological conditions and we are hoping that she doesn't develop POTS in the future. I hope you've been doing well since this video.

I hope you found my video useful. I have a few more up to date videos about POTS on my channel too. Hopefully your little one doesn't develop POTS, but you are already aware of the condition so that will help her if she does. POTS can affect people very differently so try not to worry about it too much even if it does happen. (What am thinking, telling a mum not to worry?!) All the best x

Michele I talk about POTS in these videos - introduction, ECG test and Tilt Table Test, with more coming soon. I hope your investigations are going well. I'm happy to answer any questions you have for me.

How did you get referred to the cardiologist? Is it the one in Southampton? I have ME & find standing still the most exhausting of all.

velvetrevolution07 My GP referred me to cardiology in Salisbury, they were good. I don’t know whether Southampton is good or not. I also got referred to the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery in Queen’s Square, London. They’re the ones who thoroughly checked there was nothing else going on and got me the medication midodrine which has been really good for me. You could try contacting NHNN, specifically the autonomic unit for advice on how to get referred. Hope this helps

@@EmilyCricket Thanks. I'll mention it to my GP, but I doubt she'll have heard of POTS! I've had ME for many years.
