I DONT really see 2 traditions but just the same kabalah is a light from above Habad Hadidut is the same from below it's a mirror. To put it in other ways one teaching the enlightens the other making it felt here below. BH WE R ALL ONE

I was curious as to the relations between these traditions - good to see with these eyes an actual interaction. Will have to track down the bit Rabbi Simcha Ashlag was mentioning and read it in full.

Baal HaSualm's contribution to Kabbalah and the practical method for achieving a new world of peace and unity is not yet known to the masses. His grandson clearly wants to bring this knowledge to the mainstream orthodox hassidism, but it seems that they have no need for it, and its realization will come from somewhere else. Yashar-el is a direction of the heart, not a nationality. That being said, the ancestral merit of all the sons of Abraham does necessitate them to study the Zohar in our time, and be a light unto the nations. Baal HaSulam established this method in meticulous detail, for every man and woman on the planet, independent of religious belief, skin color, cultural identity etc.

There is a magnificent power in it [In the Wisdom of Kabbalah]: All who engage in it, although they still do not understand what is written in it, are purified by it, and the Upper Lights draw closer to them. Baal HaSulam, “The Teaching of the Kabbalah and Its Essence”

Vladimir A yes ur right but as mentioned by the Rebbe Tanya hassidut is kabakah in a form that is easier to understand so it becomes very accessible to its practice and not merely taken as knowledge book without action. Again lot of people study kabakah but it doesn't change them for better people. Not cause of kabakah God forbid but it's too hard for majority of us. If u think am joking start Tanya I'll understand what I mean

Nothing is impossible to.learn if there is a desire. It may not be as others learn. That's not what's important.

nahara nahra upashtei means each river goes its own way not 'may it go wider'
@kobyberkovits40936 жыл бұрын
chasidance In most halachic works it would mean the former. The Ramma uses it a lot to say how in some Ashkenazic communities they do differently to the Mechaber but the literal translation can be extended to mean the latter too.

His name is Rabbi Yechezkel Ashlag OBM. Rabbi Simcha Ashlag is his younger brother, may he live long, who disseminates the works of their Grandfather Baal Hasulam OBM.
