we got to that segment . plastic down , mesh on . all chairs in. and over night before the inspector came to sign off on the job. . A wind came up and flipped it all out of the forms . START AGAIN

Hi! What is the exact size and brand of meshwire that you used? Also, brand of vapour barrier. We are planning to extend our alfresco about 6m2 size only.Thanks

@@mschemist8 the size of the mesh wire is 2.4m by 6m at $74 a sheet. I dont know the brand but i got it from Bunnings. The vapour barrier we used was a heavy duty builders plastic that we also got from bunnings. Hope that help, please post some photos of your job once your done

For a large slab definitely work in sections. Don’t try to smooth out the whole thing in one go like we tried to do on the first slab (6m across ) 🤦🏻‍♀️ Learned that lesson the hard way 😂

How do I prep for a slap in an existing room that already has walls?

Thanks for your question. I have never tried to lay a slab under those circumstances. It is best to get advice from a professional tradesman local to you for their opinion and to look at the specifics of your job. I find many trades-people are happy to give me tips and advice on how to do a job myself if I ask.

Should make a TikTok channel as a side social media platform as well as condense the video to 60 seconds for that platform. Consider putting the voice over with a mic at home talking about what you did etc. not sure what the goal is but could make the videos more digestible.

No cracks, the ground was compacted prior to concrete slab being poured.
