"apse" is one of those crossword clues you'll remember after some time. Sometimes "nave" is what the writer is looking for in a part of a church, but usually apse fits the bill. "tete" (one syllable, rhymes with 'bet'), is French for 'head', so "tete a tete" translates to the English "head to head". Roquefort is a nasty cheese that my pop used to put on his salad in dressing form every.single.night. How he could eat that is beyond me, lol... Rhymes with "rock (or soak) a four".
