Learning from the Past

An important point for Christians to learn; we can learn from people of other religions. It has nothing to do with abandoning Jesus and everything to do with human dignity and recognition of the fact that God is calling ALL to Himself. The experience of others is always valuable. Also, great points about cultural appropriation. Blessings brother!

Another excellent video. Taylor's story is reminiscent of the book of Job, the book in the Bible that I've read far more than the others. I agree with you: every single one of us carries burdens that we hide from others and it's helpful for us to remember that fact as we interact with those we don't know. Like our own behavior, theirs is a product of the heartaches and fears that they carry with them. Not one of us is immune. An anagram of Hudson Taylor is "Adorn my soul." Seems so fitting.
