I am glad Alabama is investing in and preserving our hunting and fishing. As a warship designer I loved seeing the equipment rooms of that old ship. That old stuff was built simple but strong. Thats why shes still sailing. Thanks for sharing.

Wow, your channel has really evolved man! You don't remember me, I was Funky Monk among other user names, but I watched you a lot a few years ago when you were doing your kayak trips on the rivers and creeks and camping. Well, you inspired inspired to "Get out there" and now I'm finally doing it. I have a channel now with very few views lol, but that's totally not why I'm doing it. It wasn't planned, but I fell in love with making videos as I adventure full time. I've even given you a shout out or two! Thanks for helping me get off that couch. You actually helped me change my life.

We are getting our first artificial reef since 2009 down here in the Keys if the permits are EVER okayed. Concrete light poles supposedly about 16 miles NW of key West. Hard to believe there have been no artificial reef additions since the Vandenberg was sunk off Key West in 2009.

The black bands are from “banding” and just means you need to tweak your camera settings. Maybe a better lens/camera setup. Good video.

Trip, did you ask what the cost was for a private reef would be?
@TripSmith2 жыл бұрын
I did. It depends on which one you want. The chicken coops are a few hundred a piece, but you need to do a bunch of them. You can't just do one. The Super Reefs are many thousands

@@TripSmith will do, wish we could have more AR’s in SW FL where we fish but it is a very complicated process that the state has to oversee. Alabama allows folks to build private reefs so long as they comply with the eco regs and pay a small fee
