I'm sure Benji understands that breathing in carbon monoxide instead of fresh air is detrimental to our health. Along with the other conditioning unhealthy to all humans like not smiling at other people and being afraid of each other. Do us all a favor and do your own due diligence. The masks they would wear are not even to protect themselves, it's for other people. So in theory, they would be putting people at the farmer's market at risk, if they were in fact carrying the virus. I heard from Washington residents that wearing a mask while outside is not mandatory right now. So I guess it's up to everyone to make their own choices.

I know! Are they in denial? 100,000 people have died in 2 1/2 months! For their sake, I'm really worried. So many people are crowding beaches etc. I can't understand it. No one knows what long term effects of this disease will have on people (kidney disease, COPD, autoimmune disease). My own parents talked about going on vacation! I couldn't believe it...it was honestly like any sense of the reality and gravity of the situation had vanished. Is this a psychological phenomenon ?

I really really love you guys, and it turns my stomach to see Benji and Miya out and about without masks on. In our place in PH, whenever anyone goes out for necessities, they have to wear a mask, then take a shower and change clothes as soon as they come home. We also sanitise all grocery items before it enters our house. Our area has a relatively low count of covid positive patients (based on limited testing) but I have a dad who is a dialysis patient (who wears full safety gear when he goes to the hospital), senior citizen parents, and a sister who just gave birth to a baby boy, so we are doing everything to keep everyone safe. Social distancing helps, but a lot of people are asymptomatic and I would hate to see your family go through anything bad or scary. 😥😥😥 I hope everyone stays safe and healthy!!

Lumpia is literally like our samosa rolls we make. I guess it must be an Asian thing. Only difference is ours is more chunky hehe. I kind of want to try the more thinner version though like they do in the Philippines.

I love you guys, and I'm only saying this because I care about you all, but please wear masks when you go outside around other people. It's not only a risk to yourselves, but a risk to other people as well. Also, the coronavirus can live on copper coins for up to 4 hours and paper money for up to 4 days. Considering the fact that money circulates constantly from person to person, I would advise against the kids touching money for the time being, just to be safe. Especially if one is going to eat. The coronavirus can live on plastic surfaces for up to a week. I sincerely hope that the plastic wrapping on the cookie and Miya's hands were sanitized prior to eating. Stay safe everyone!

I'm seeing a lot of comments here bashing other people for telling Benji to wear a mask. Please know that even if the mask does not eradicate having the virus, it's still a preventive measure. I live in Vancouver and work at a Laser Clinic with 5 doctors, 6 nurses and 7 laser technicians and we opened today. We have shoe and hand sanitizer and temperature check once you arrive and covid related questions (have you been traveling etc) Pexi glass where reception is, all staff wear masks and extra time added for full sanitization after each treatment. Still scary but I do feel safe.

I work at a new and used baby/kids/maternity store. Right now we have to quarantine anything brought in that the store buys or that people are returning. After a few days of quarantine we clean the equipment (changing tables, cribs, and toys etc.) and the clothes go in to bins we have to quarantine somewhere else. It's a new process but we are just trying to keep everything safe. I don't blame anyone for not wanting to shop used though. It's been a crazy new process these days.

I called our local Plato’s Closet to see if they are taking clothes 👚still & they are. You have to make an appointment now to drop them off, they must be washed before you bring them in, have to be in 2 shopping bags 🛍 or a clothes basket 🧺 , they won5 touch them for 48-hours, then they will do their checking & call you when done ✅

Per the DOH, it’s not mandated in WA state but wearing a mask can provide additional protection. As a fellow Washingtonian, I’ll wear one out just in case. Now getting my 2 yr old to wear one out in public....that’ll be the real challenge.

But in the wake of this virus, there are statewide mandates for people to wear masks in public, and social distancing rules are in place. There are many different reasons why the U.S. numbers are higher. But we need to view the full picture after everything has settled, and we have a real grasp on the international carnage caused by this virus.
