I think that its also important especially now to reinforce self-compassion (not self pity there's a difference) to get through this very testing times. Also, coming up with a Self-care plan, reflect, and cultivate happiness.

Judy I know exactly how you feel. I'm a mother of 5 with 3 of school age still at home plus I work full-time.... I work for a trucking company and oh my goodness there are some days where I literally have to just stop be by myself and cry, just get it all out. We are most definitely living in some trying times right now. I'm praying for you all.....

Nothing more reassuring than your husband being there for you as you cry it out and he says it’ll all be ok. My husband pulled me out of my postpartum depression which took a while. He’s always been there trying to understand and asking if he couldn’t understand why I felt the way I felt. He’s my strong foundation. Hang in there mama. You gotta vent it out.

That's amazing that he supported you through that! So many aren't so lucky. Mostly due to lack of education in this area and Men not seeking out information. Big ups to him!

My husband is more of the macho type. He doesn't like crying and just doesn't like negative situations overall. But when I had a miscarriage, his whole demeanor changed and was willing to sit there and hold me while I cried. Even if we didn't speak, he just held me and it helped tremendously. So while he's still the man who doesn't like crying, I know that when I truly need him, he will be there.

If the mountain seems too big today then climb a hill instead if the morning brings you sadness it’s ok to stay in bed If the day ahead weighs heavy and your plans feel like a curse there’s no shame in rearranging don’t make yourself feel worse If a shower stings like needles and a bath feels like you’ll drown if you haven’t washed your hair for days don’t throw away your crown A day is not a lifetime a rest is not defeat don’t think of it as failure just a quiet, kind retreat It’s ok to take a moment from an anxious, fractured mind the world will not stop turning while you get realigned The mountain will still be there when you want to try again you can climb it in your own time just love yourself til then

Benji - women and men are different in how they deal with stress. Heck every person deals work it differently. Judy feels her responsibility to protect herself while pregnant as a primordial instinct. And her need to express herself when she is stressed is how most women feel.... If you listen and hold her and validate her feelings with a simple "I understand" and "I'm here for you" you'll give her what she needs to get past this. I get irritated when men try to "listen" by instructing women. We don't need instruction. We just need to feel like we're loved through our worries. 🥰

I honestly don't think he was "mansplaining" here... Seems that Judy and Benji have had this conversation before, and that Benji was giving us insight of how he copes. From what Judy said, he's very good at listening to her vent and helps her get thru the tough times... Everyone doesn't want or need to be cuddled or coddled when stressing... That's THEIR particular Love language.

It’s definitely extra difficult for you because you’re pregnant. Being quarantined is difficult enough without adding the extra hormones. It’s ok to feel overwhelmed, that’s a healthy response to your situation as long as you process it in positive productive ways. Eventually things will go back to normal.

MeteoricMarlin I am currently 26 weeks pregnant with my first baby my little miracle boy. It has been a roller coaster for sure I never imagined my pregnancy going like this:/ I have to miss out on all the things that I had dreamed of:/ But I truly just think that after 2 miscarriages god blessed me with this baby and as long as he is healthy and safe that’s all that should matter! I remind myself that everyday because all the other things are materialistic, still sad but life is more important.

I have depression myself and it started while I was going through my divorce. I have moments wither I take my medication or not and it’s a struggle for me. As a mom myself it’s hard cause I get into this funk of needing to be alone and don’t want to be around people but then literally I have to look at at myself in the mirror and have to tell myself “No. First and foremost your mom. You have two kids who depend on you, you can do this”. Sometimes I have to say it to myself a couple time till I’m good. I am also stoked because of they phase one starting I get to start my externs at a Pediatric office and it couldn’t have made my day/ last 2 months better.

I find it reassuring to see Judy get emotional. On a personal level, it’s been v difficult and I’ve broken down a few times. But also, I think it’s important we don’t normalize mass death. We are at 70k+ deaths in the US alone. We should hold space for that to feel and not try and suppress those feelings of loss. Yes, be productive when u can and only if it does make u feel better. These are not normal times and we should all show empathy.

We need more of this, especially on social media.....more people that are willing to be vulnerable and admit that their lives aren't perfect and it's okay to feel sad sometimes. Just remember that the rain doesn't last forever. Joy comes in the morning! 🌷☀️

Love the “cinematography” of the biking scene. The musical scoring was great too! Good job, _Director Benji!_ 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼. 14:33 Suggestion: A five - second long shot would’ve completed this! 👍🏼❤️

Judy I literally just got done crying came to my bedroom laid on the bed opened up KZbin and saw your vlog with headline "it's okay not to be okay." This couldn't have come at a better time because I'm kicking myself in the ass for not understanding why im sad and wanna cry and it bring solace knowing other women are feeling this way during this time as well. Much love Travis Fam 💜

That moment between you and Benji is one of the most healthy, valued conversation to have in a relationship. Although you didn’t share the entire conversation, it’s humbling and very sweet to watch that moment you had together. Ensuring each other’s worth during this time. Stay safe and positive❤️

I advise you guys spend time with God right there where your at. When you let Jesus in your home he'll take your pain worries away. Always believe in him and be strong in him, and remember his in control. There's many people who are suffering and he's there waiting for humanity to turn to him and tell him this is outta my control God you take the wheel of this situation and come into my life and change it. But look for him and look for any minister who can guide you to God. God bless you!

Oh Judy! :( I've never wanted to virtually hug someone more in my life. I could litterly feel your pain and sadness through the screen. You're in my thoughts Judy. I hope you can find peace.💞 Thank you for sharing this vulnerable moment. You are not alone💛

What’s depressing is being black in this country. Where you can’t even go outside for a run without worrying about getting killed. #JusticeForAhmaud

I think your completely right but whether intended or not your comment comes off as kind of rude and as if you're implying that others don't have a reason to be depressed (or talk about their depression) because they're circumstances aren't as bad as others.

@@Prayeveryday99. The point didn't go over my head. I said I completely agree that it is depressing that black people can't even live their lives without being murdered but In my opinion it did come off as what I said. That doesn't mean it did to anyone or that it's true.

@Ashley Ragsdale - I think the saying "Just because the person next to you is in a full body cast, doesn't mean your broken arm doesn't hurt." Is a good one to remember right now in the world. Kristie is justified in having concerns and sadness, and did not lessen others feelings by not saying the struggles others are going through. Lets try to be compassionate and empathetic to all, no matter the reason for struggle. :)

It's hard because you have a baby bear coming that you're trying to prepare and protect. Worry comes through love. Interesting the PDA shown, I wish Benji would shut up for a second and hug you. That may not be how you do things but more love. The Panda purse shirt is too cute! Be careful drying the Lularoe shirt.

I truly felt this conversation between you and Benji ❤️. Self care is so important, just as important as crying when your heart needs too. Take as many human moments as you need, regardless of its closing your eyes for 3 seconds, or bathroom break for 7 minutes. We need to take care of us, so we can take care of them. We love you Travis’s!

As someone who has clinical depression, my parents constantly remind me that it is okay to not be okay, and put my mental health first. My mom always texts me daily asking what’s one thing I did that made me happy that day. You got this Judy! 💛

Judy, I have been having a really rough week, Im glad you guys are being open about your depression.. Me and my hubby of 8 years just split for the first time and our 5 year old is in the middle of it.. my hubby has been very depressed and down lately and the virus hasn't made it any easier for him and he just recently went back to work.. I hope he will take this time that he wants to himself to figure out what is bothering him.. I miss him so much and we used to be so open with each other.. you guys words of encouragement means alot to me at this time.. Thank you so much!
