I have damage to the short term memory centre in the brain making it more difficult to get things into the long term memory bank, I also have dyslexia and dyscalculia. I found hooked on phonics helped with reading and spelling. Bag tags helped me learn to solve math problems, as they gave me a visual for the numbers of the page. Today at 43, I tend to have only dyslexia and dyscalculia issues when I am tired or in pain. Patience and doing fun stuff afterwards helps push through the hard stuff.

Cool :) Thank you for sharing a little bit about what you have had to go through and how hooked on phonics helped you. I'll be checking those out for Lincoln as they look like wonderful to helping him with this :) It's also cool to hear that you only really have dyslexia and dyscalcuila when you are tired!
