My Dad told me every day farming is learning. If you are not learning you need to change your occupation. That drone will be handy checking the sprinkler lines. Years ago I was between jobs and a friend that worked at a large farm in our area called me and asked if I would want to cultivate 3 hundred acres they were preparing for seeding. I said ok and we would meet at the field. He had the tractor all set to go. I got there and he had another driver to help and I had to train him. I got the tractors lined up to go and told him to follow my track. On the second lap I found half his cultervater setting there. I waited and he showed up and asked what it was setting there for. I told him it was his and he looked and didn't know he lost it. So don't feel bad about the batwing at least you are looking behind your tractor and learning. ❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊😊😊

Dearest JoJoSnow,I'm an old guy (75) raised in the city (Louisville, KY) and made routine visits to great aunt Stella's farm in Berea KY. So many memories, so many stories I can't begin to tell them all. Like my twin kissing cousins. And treating the infected hoof of her cow. Thank you for your day to day courage to brave another one of our great country's oldest professions. I admire your strength and openness to share your story. As for me i would say I'm a country-fied city slicker. Equally comfortable in jeans or a tuxedo. Hope to see you some day in a ballroom with someone special in a beautiful gown waltzing across the dance floor. Every minute you are driving farm equipment you have over 750K souls riding with you. We all love you.

Write it off to inexperience, which is now experience. Question for Zac... why don't you just spray those areas with Round Up instead of mowing them all summer? You two stay safe out there!!

Go fly the drone, Jordan, it, like most things you are doing, is much easier than it looks. I done fly my old drone much but they are incredibly stable. You can tell it to hover 3 ft in the air and it will stay there until the battery runs out. They are also very hard to crash in your flat country, their main enemies are power wires and trees and you don’t have many of the latter. Just fly above the pivots. It will be excellent to inspect the pivots, you will be able to see most problems before walking into the crop. Just do it. Great channel. Thanks.

You got to watch those center pivot s. I have seen one tower quit. The safety did not work. It tipped over. I have been working on farms for fifty years. I work on a big farm in Florida and Georgia. I am in charge of twenty tractors. I have been a tractor driver for a long time. I prefer tractor driving to being a supervisor. I got talked into becoming a supervisor - mechanic. It's not as hard on my arthritis. Pays better. I am in my office under a shade tree. Good luck on farming. I like it but the pay isn't great. You got to love being in the country. Be careful and pay attention to detail. Don't work on anything with the tractor or combine running.
