I grew up in Layri until 1973, spending my childhood and teenage years there. During this time, I attended Baloch Secondary School and completed my matriculation (Year 10) there. Seeing a father and daughter discuss the living conditions in Layri, which have remained underdeveloped since the partition, fills me with pride. Mr. Shaheen, an amazing history teacher, always kept his house open for students eager to learn. The people of Layri are not only resilient and strong in character but also possess a wonderful sense of humor and a deep sense of charity. They take immense pride in their Baloch heritage. Thank you for sharing this poignant reflection.

Salam uncle This was a very relatable discussion, really enjoyed every bit of it. We still struggle with accentism here in Pakistan, unfortunately many of the problems you faced in the 70s/80s still exist, and I'm sure you know that.
