The efforts of two young women of Balochi origin, sharing their experiences while advocating for mental health awareness and supporting their community, are truly commendable achievements. Your dedication serves as an inspiration for young people, especially our daughters, encouraging them to strive for excellence. You are shining examples of greatness, and your commitment to making a positive impact in your community through sharing your personal journeys is both admirable and inspiring.

Those are very kind words. I appreciate the love and time you took to write this. Achievements come after many many setbacks and that’s what’s difficult to talk about. I will be discussing obstacles too!

A great topic to discuss about. Baloch community must come out of their reserved shell and get open about these issues. There is no shame in it, it's a wide issue. The sooner it gets addressed the quicker it can get cured. Thank you both for sharing this discussion. ✨✌️

Thank you for your thoughtful comment! We couldn't agree more. Breaking the silence around mental health in the Baloch community is crucial. By openly discussing these issues, we can create a supportive environment where people feel comfortable seeking help and support.

Your interview with Yusra Baloch therapist beautifully addresses the complex journey of mental health issues in our unique Baloch society of today, offering valuable insights and support for those navigating through difficult times. Thank you for shedding light on such an important aspect of mental health and providing suggestions to those who need it. Zaheerok is one of the wonderful therapy Baloch people had to overcome the grief but it is dying off as the time goes by. People used to bring expert Zaheerok singer who used to make people cry on a funeral. That was an amazing comfort and big help for family in pain on grief of loved ones.

Minatwaar Agha Jan! Wow! I actually had no idea, that is such an effective way to get everyone’s feelings out! This is what I mean there’s so much I don’t know about the Baloch Culture and people. Love learning! Cant wait to have you on!

Thank you for your kind words. We're glad it shed light on mental health in our Baloch society. It's true, Zaheerok therapy has been a comforting tradition for many during times of grief. It's unfortunate it's fading away. Let's cherish such cultural practices to help each other through difficult times.
