I just ordered this panflute, it will be my first try at a wind instrument. It was shipped the same day I ordered it, I should do an unboxing, my parents have listened to panflute music since I was a child, just cant believe ive waited this long to get one.

Brad I can now play both Dolannes Melody and unchained melody and found this so easy as compared to learning to read music which I am really struggling to master. Any more or a DVD would be helpful as there must be many pan flutists like me who cant read music.Thanks Bob

I have a beginner's question. I have a 16 pipe pan flute but the pipes are marked "doh re mi fah sol la si" and I frankly don't know how to read music. So does anyone know which letters, A through G correspond to the doh re mi scale?

Aloha Brad - I purchased a 15-pipe Romanian Alto pan flute from you many years ago, and it still plays beautifully. BTW: The diatonic harmonica and diatonic pan flute are the only instruments I play strictly by ear. Unless you want to count my chromatic slide whistle?

Hey Brad! Many many years ago we had contact through mail about the pan flute. Regretfully I never managed to get a good start with the instrument. But I understand 15 pipes are a good start. Any special tune that you recommend as a start. I see some saying C, others G. I have little knowledge so anything would be useful! Thanks in advance!

I think I've found them... I've got a 12 pipe panflute, and the C is the third pipe from the right.. Is that correct ? It sounds the same as your C, and from there on al the notes sound the same. But can you play any song you would like with just a 12 pipe panflute ? Because I've founded out that I've got just 1 F and G for example (A-B-C-D-E-F-G-A-B-C-D-E) so I got stuck with your Unchained Melody tutorial ... :-(

Hi Brad, why are these notes different from the music.notes.to this song in key of g I purchased online from.music store? This version has a few extra notes and the placement of some notes is different from the one I purchased from online
