Fixed Interval: Waiting a SPECIFIED amount of time until being reinforced. (being paid every 2 weeks) -Low response rate that increase when closer to reinforcements Variable interval: Waiting for a particular amount of time until being reinforced (elevators) Fixed Ratio: Being reinforced for an x # of times Variable Ratios: Doing something an unspecified # of times to until reinforcements (gambling)
