After going through it personally 16 yrs ago yes all feelings your having ate Normal (wondering if you've done the right thing etc) think of this as your new beginning it'll get better and you'll feel happier as time goes on, that new black flower jumper looks lovely, and your new green coat really suits you nice to see you in a different colour 😊 and love your walking shoes, good therapy having a spending spree and not having to explain yourself!! Hi Suz, getting an email about your divorce is bound to churn you up. You're doing the right thing though, accepting it's part of the process and then doing things to distract and cheer yourself up. Love the colourful new gear; bright colours have their own power to chivvy us up. You'll be amazed how many DIY skills you pick up after some time living on your own. I'm gob smacked by what I can do myself now. One of my daughters is a Radical Feminist (I taught her well!) and I'm going to find out more about what you were saying, it sounds interesting. Formal divorce is something we have no experience of but we know lots of people that have done it and it’s often simply confirmation that you are now a free agent and back in control of your own future. A bit of retail therapy does help and it’s fun to treat yourself. I like the look of the Yeti mug 🙂 It’s very quiet in the woods on your walk. The bee in the awning reminded me of when your nanna took you out when you were a toddler and if a bee flew past you she swore it had a crown on because it was a queen bee 😂 you spent a lot of time chasing bees to see the crown. I miss her ❤❤

When we end a marriage for whatever reason, we not only go through a period of mourning the marriage, we also mourn all the future we subconsciously expected to have. It took me 6 months to realise i was in control of my own future. Now, like you, I'm about to cast myself adrift in a van bought from selling my home....scary and exciting at the same time. I have a feeling I'll go through that period of mourning again, but this time I'll be expecting it. You'll be fine in the end 💕

@@suzybeetravels Yes, Thank you. Busy in bat rescue feeding bat pups at the moment round the clock. They come in weighing as little as 1.2g and need 6 weeks at least to be independent then volunteers release them back where they originally came from.
