Hi Howard, how do you feel about no dual controls in the car? Is it nerve wracking or you trust the pupil 😊
@How-2-drive5 ай бұрын
It can be scary with a beginner. I’m having to be much more proactive to prevent things from developing so I have control. With duals, I’d say less and see how they cope and react when I need to.

@@How-2-drive thanks for your reply. It’s nice to know it can be scary for an experienced adi like yourself, I’m A recently qualified adi and I found you to be really brave teaching without duals but I feel almost normal knowing the fear is normal haha.

Hi Howard. Really enjoying these videos. Question you say roll the clutch. Never heard that before normally up or down. Why roll?
@How-2-drive4 ай бұрын
Just sounds better. Good terms too for brakes, so they don’t just lift off and imbalance the car. I like roll off, it’s more gradual. You can say up or down, I used too.

@@How-2-drive thank you I think it does sound nice rather than clutch up clutch down. When you are teaching do you plan to work on subjects or do you plan to work on skills?. As listing to your video intro you mention working on junctions previous lesson and going to add more roundabouts in on this lesson so is it the roundabouts or the skills to work on the roundabouts that you are trying to achieve. TIA
