You are presenting another Apache video. Of course we are going to learn from. I made a small Apache mission for my friend and I. Since we have the same control setup, I walked him through a whole control layout. He can fly the chopper since he works on them but I help him with the systems. I told him with the FCR coming out and things were gonna get more fun. So again thank you for all the help I have gotten from you.

The video definitely shows how much more fun the multicrew helicopters are with someone else in the seat! Usually it's me sitting in the front seat, hearing a missile launch and frantically jumping into the backseat to try and just dump the helicopter behind cover before we get hit.

I have several helicopter modules and the only one I have problems with is the Apache. For some reason when I go to take off it oscillate the left and right which eventually causes a crash. I have adjusted all of my joystick settings and it didn't seem to help. I have a SAITEK X52 joystick. I always reset by using control T before trying to take off. You have any suggestions as it seems from the videos you've really mastered this module. Thank you

When you guys were doing the race track gun runs on the wheeled targets, should the pilot be flying in aerodynamic trim, N/T trim, or is it a non-factor?

Technically depends on the altitude but realistically it doesn’t matter too much.

Watching that Spandrel track you while you're masking BEHIND trees @5:35 is frustrating. Jake reacted just as he should have, immediately turning, masking, and breaking LoS. No way the BMP gunner could have tracked you. Nice vid. Sign him off RL1!

Man I miss flying that machine, just saw your video popup. I just got dcs and the Apache. But I need to do a lot of control adjustments before I try flying it. How does it fly/operate compared to the real deal? Haven’t watched the vid yet but will once I put my girls to bed.

Depends who you ask. It’ll never feel “perfect”. No aircraft/ helicopter sim does.
