I'm 850 kc dry at Zilyana. As I was watching it late in the video a couple minutes after you got the drop I broke my dry streak with a hilt!!! So happy congrats to you! I've actually been super spooned at armadyl lol it's a great feeling breaking a dry streak!

yeah equipping it isn't necessary. I used to think equipping it was needed, but the wiki + other players have confirmed it as a common misconception

At zulrah I got a 48 second pb with full void , addy darts and trident , then I went with my max gear t bow dragon darts and harm orb and can’t even get close to 48

hmmm strange, I used to always wear it but then had a bunch of people tell me that step wasn't necessary. Wiki also states: When the slayer cape is equipped or in your inventory, there is a 10% chance..." Seem like you don't need it equipped, but suppose there's always a slight chance wiki is wrong this time
