The best way to learn is practice. I would suggest stabilizing the bar some other way than one hand, and the other hand operating the file. File absolutely straight using both hands and avoid any arcing. Nice pile of wood you got going on!

Thank you so much for the advice. I gotta find a way to stabilize the bar. I know I got some vices somewhere. I did a second filing on the Holzforma g660 and man it is sharp and cuts straight. 🙌🏻🙌🏻
