I CAN NOW DO IT CONSISTENTLY!! Few misconceptions: 1. Most people think the kip up is a motion powered by your triceps, or your arms in general. Instead, the momentum of a kip up is generated by using the legs, and the arms are just for stability and a little extra push. 2. Most people tend to get their legs up and down but then land on their back because they can’t bring their body back up. This is where you must propel your legs while bringing your body along with it, instead of two separate groups. 3. Your legs must shoot up first, then pull down in an arc for your body to be able to follow with it and go upwards. 4. USE UR ABS AND DONT GIVE UP !!! Do not give up. This took me a few days to land, and I learned a lot along the way. I recommend recording yourself attempting it, and even though it seems cringe, it will help because you will be able to see what ur doing wrong. YOU GOT DIS

There's a wrestler called Orange Cassidy who wrestles with his hands in his pockets. He does drop kicks, suicide dives, etc and kip ups all without using his hands. It's amazing to watch. I tore the cartilage and ligaments of my knee jumping off a swing when I was 18, and that's about the time I stopped being able to do kip ups. 15 years later and I'm way too cautious to ever try again. I did this on the 5th try, if you also want to, DO NOT IGNORE WHAT IM ABOUT TO SAY, Don't make the mistake of not warming up, because as soon as your legs touch the ground and you want to get up, your hamstrings would be on fire, trust me, I feel like i've just done a V-Sit meanwhile I can't even do a proper L-Sit If you're one of the idiots who tried on the bed, just don't.. it won't work, do it on the floor, no pain=no gain While kicking, don't kick horizontally, kick vertically and as soon as you kick push your hands as hard as you can against the floor

for all those of you who are trying at home here are some tips from a person who had to master this for wushu -at the start, dont try to get up first you want to make sure that you are able to get into a bridge before you do it if not that you might risk injuring your back so go to starting position, kick up and use your hands to help you with getting into a bridge -when you are getting up,try hooking your legs as close to ur body as you can because it makes it easier to get up -try kicking at a 75 degree angle and try one to go over that because it may be harder to get up - if you still need help,ask someone to support our back and push u up so that u can get momentum.so just lay down with someone supporting ur back,kick up and let the person push u forward

Keep trying. Make sure to stretch out your hands and arms, considering you are using the most strength from that area. Once you get the hang of it, the bridge is pretty easy, but it’s important you have decent back flexibility as well.

My back hurts from watching this. It's so cool that you don't want to just attempt it but always make a bigger challenge. An average person would be like: :"Oh I learn this and maybe without hands". You : "I NEED TO DO THREE ON A ROW OTHERWISE I'M GONNA DIE AT 3AM" . That's dope. I have a weird obsession with houses with tons of little spaces or particular distribution. I mean, those stairs look so cute, I mean having many levels instead of the typical 2 story house, and I guess the door on the right is like a closet or something, I feel the need of hiding there. Also, the table beside the fireplace looks so cozy. It has nothing to do with the challenge, but that house looks so cute xD
@MikeShake4 жыл бұрын
Ahah thank you Angie! I really really like challenges so I was happy and sad at the same time that I manage to land it so fast. Anyways this house is beautiful, it's like in a small town in the middle of the mountains. My grandfather built it, I'm super lucky 👍
