For improving the speed on your tennis serve, you should think about gripping the racket lower on the handle. You will be able to generate more power but lose some control. For the free kicks, if you used a different pair of shoes, you might find it easier. The shoes you were wearing had thick bottoms making it difficult to get your foot under the ball and lift it into the air.

Also for the tennis serve, make sure to pronate your racket.

Well said, for the tennis serve, holding the racket like a hammer then hitting the ball flat with your wrist facing the net is a good way to generate power. Also throw the ball 1ft in front of you and make contact at the highest point while also jumping into the court.

Also use the continental grip for the serve coz that grip is how u hold a hammer and it smashes hard

Love how in a couple of the challenges you forget the original challenge and just try to improve. comparing yourself to the best of the best will only bring disappointment, but comparing to your past self brings improvement. It's a great lesson that applies to any skill that takes a while to learn. you can't expect to be perfect at it, but as long as you are getting better that's what matters.

I was going to comment the same thing. If you know how to hit the ball confidently, it almost becomes natural. The first time I ever hit one was completely accidental, but since I play goalkeeper I know how to fall properly and I’m not afraid to fling myself in the air so it makes it easier.

some tennis serve advice: gripping lower on the handle, and making sure you’re using either what’s called a continental grip or an eastern grip (basicslly holding it sideways) will generate more power and control. also, when you reach the trophy position, drop your arm back and almost whip the serve to generate maximum power. there’s a lot more to it but that’s the basics

you also jump with the front foot and when you make contact with the ball you try to keep a straight body for max power. and you make sure to land with the front foot as well. the toss should also be really high and the jump should come way after the toss.

Throw the ball like it's a dart, but with so much force that the air makes a bunch of turbulence behind it, that's what changes the trajectory. The key really is to make sure that the last moment of the throw is pushing the ball straight and then flicking tour fingers out so it definitely has the last bit of acceleration in a straight line

For the bicycle kick try to jump as high as you can and don't be scared it's that simple... try to throw your self into it not too hard plus if you want a better bicycle kick you have to have a good cross and football shoes/cleats/boots and try to throw your left foot up an kick with your right if you're right footed And for the free kick try to kick from the bottom to top to have more hight and curve Hope that helps you😊

As a tennis player for over 15 years, don't jump on purpose!! That's a big no-no, your body will go up if you use proper form/technique. Look at a slow motion of an ATP player serve, as the racket goes down then up their feet push against the ground so they naturally go up and towards the net (forward). Sequencing your body segments and relaxation is huge as well - you were muscling the ball and jumping, even if your very strong the ball won't go much faster than 90mph. Tennis is not easy to learn and the serve is probably the most complex stroke biomechanically speaking.

I pitched into college and threw a knuckleball. You’re supposed to have a fingernail on each seam and not let the ball touch anything else except your thumb. You can see at one point how you have a better grip but let the ball sit in the cup between index and thumb. That will cause spin. You practice by literally just pushing the ball from your throwing hand and catching it with your other hand. Like only traveling a few inches. Then sit in front of the net and just toss it gentle without spin into the net. Then stand and do the same thing from close range. And then keep repeating but get further and further away.
