Definitely relate to everything you've talked about in this video. This year I'm trying to take things slowly and be more present since life for me feels like I'm in a race and there's never any time left, but now I'm trying to change that and implement more changes to be a more relaxed, happier version of myself.

Hey Taz, I am a knitter and crocheter. I would recommend that you wash your cardigans in a cold wash. No more that 30 degrees Celsius! Do not tumble dry. When it comes out of the wash, if you can lay it flat to dry so it keeps its shape, that would be ideal.

Wow I’ve literally been feeling the SAME lately- needing to sit with some heavy feels, feeling an energetic shift, wanting to just do things with myself (I love how you phrased that). This video has been so comforting, thank you for sharing Taz! I feel very validated in what I’m going through right now 🤍

Sitting with our feelings and emotions that we want to label as bad such as sadness, anxiety , anger etc, is the key ! Numbing ourself and acting like we aren't hurt or that '' Oh it's nothing '' is only gonna amplify these felings until we implode. It can be very scary at first but ... Once you sit with it and let it pass, there's no better reward ! As someone who suffered from daily panic attacks, unable to step a FOOT outside, I can now say that not escaping our feelings is KEY to growth, healing and being true to our-self ! x

Our experiences are very very similar at the moment. Feeling feelings after a long time of not being able to, and when you finally do it's overwhelming. Like there's no seeing past it. I cry rarely so never knew how relieving it could be.. This year I want to cry more. It seems to make a big difference.

Turn your cardigan inside out, and put it on a wool cycle. It should be fine, as long as there's no long threads hanging. 💜

I'm not a laundry pro at all but here's what I do for my favourite garments: For the cardigan: I'd say it depends on the material that it's made of. Natural fibers like wool, silk, cotton,... are much more fragile than polyester or acrylic (we could call these "plastic fibers"). So if you have the energy I'd wash it by hand. You can find hand-washing detergent (that is made for hand-washing) in supermarkets. Or use your regular laundry product that you delay in some hot water, and leave your cardigan in it to soak for a few hours, then rinse. A bathtub is really useful for that type of washing because you just have space to rinse. If you don't have the time/energy then either you go to a place where the dry-wash it for you. I don't remember the name in english, a pressing room maybe? Otherwise, you can toss it in the washing machine at a very low temperature (20-30 degrees max) but I would put the cardigan in a little bag that's made for delicate garments like lingerie or underwears,... You can find these little bags anywhere, from amazon to your supermarket :-) Again, it really depends on the type of fabric it is but in doubt just take really good care of it so it lasts as long as possible :-)

Hey Taz, I hope you feel better very soon. Some of the things that you spoke about are so important for people who are going through hard times, I learnt it through therapy and I'm glad it's helping you too. I had this random thought- Why don't you start a podcast channel Where you could not only have candid conversations like this but also maybe elaborate your journey with spoken word poetry. Like it will truly help so many people. Anyways, it was just a thought that crossed my mind. But I hope you feel better and feel yourself soon. Lots of love. I will always be waiting for your videos❤

I can agree with all the other people here who commented that I can relate so much and am currently going through the same thing! It has been such a great journey but man it also has been one of the most terrifying things I ever did in life. To face your feelings and actual start to listen to your own thoughts, especially when you have been repressing them all these years, is insanely brave! So I guess what I want you to know, I think what we all want you to know, is that you're not alone in this (even though it might feel lonely) and that we're all so very proud of you! If there are not so good days coming your way just know that it's all part of the journey, it's not the end but you will get better at that skill to listen to yourself :) I usually don't leave comments like this. I wish u all the best and am looking forward to any new videos!!

I would hand wash this jumper Taz it's too precious to go in the washing machine, and use a gentle detergent for it for wool and delicates, you can find it in the supermarket. Alternatively have it dry cleaned, it would be terrible if the washing machine destroyed it. If you decide to try and hand wash it, don't wring it to get the water out as it destroys the fibres, just squeeze it. And dry it flat on a clean towel ^_^

Either hand wash or hand wash program on the washer. If it not obvious how to set it up your washer to hand wash, read the manual! If you kept it. Or Google the model number. Usually on the inside of the door it labeled.

Listening to your discussion about working on yourself and feeling your feelings. I would absolutely recommend looking at autism resources, such as the rads-R (that’s absolutely not spelled right but I should come up) and the AQ (autism quotient) because a lot of this sounds like autism burn out, which is much more intense than any other kind, it’s more akin to (and related to) chronic fatigue. It’s also different from ADHD. It may not be the case for you, but also for others relating in the comments it’s just an idea, as many of the things that help ‘regular’ burn out can make autism burn out way way worse.

Try not to wash a knit so often, airing it out at least indoors if you don't have access to outdoor area. A washing bag is great for preserving the details and not too much washing detergent, depending on your machine's programs, something dedicated to wool or silk or hand wash but not above 30 degrees. I know hand wash is the best way but I'm way too lazy for it and I'll avoid wearing anything that requires so much in regards to maintenance.
