@@Tyler-mp7khlol I’m not saying downhill mtn biking is easy because I know from experience it’s not, but literally everything about it is easier than mx. You’re going downhill, your bike moves on its own 99% of the time, it weighs almost nothing and you don’t have to harness 60hp between your legs while navigating jumps and foot-deep ruts, the runs are typically under 10-15 minutes whereas pro mx moto’s are 30 minutes plus 2 laps, you have to deal with roost off the back tire of other bikes, I could go on and on.

I grew up racing moto, and a bit like Hockey, it's not something you can really just "pick up" quickly, there's a significant learning curve like Golf or something. Edit: also that sandy soil not exactly the easiest to start with, all in all I'd say you're basically a Legend for doing as well as you did lol.
