LEARNING TO SNOWBOARD | BEECH MOUNTAIN

Tried my hand at snowboarding this past weekend at Beech Mountain! It is way harder than it looks by the way haha. Blake and Jeff had been trying to get me to learn for a while and no better time than when Beech has several feet of fresh snow to fall on. Next time I go, I think I can make some real progress since I have 2% control over the board now haha. Great time overall though!

Proud to say I was at least 50/50 with it haha. One time I only went down on purpose because the lady in front of me went down and I wasn't trying to take her out lol

Looks like you caught a lot of edges, practice riding your heel weight more and you’ll have more luck. Nice job

Only really caught one edge but I did fall backwards a ton. Im just not used to it yet and need to ride more forward and we will be set. Couple more tries and I should have it I think

Only the board. Blake (Friend that I went with) had all the other gear. He had a board too but was missing some hardware so we just got a board. Boots didnt fit right so next time I will rent boots too.
