saw your post about it on reddit and watching the video was an absolute blast! not only is it very well edited but watching your journey with cubing was really interesting and entairtaining as well, really hope to see more solves and who knows, maybe you can get that time down to 30 secs one day! you got a new subscriber my friend.

I am trying to advance beyond beginners method... what avenues did you use to learn CFOP that were most successful?

Yes, I'd highly recommend getting used to CFOP early on, especially F2L because it is quite different. Even within CFOP there are beginner and advanced algorithms. I'd start with the beginner ones since there's just too much to memorise otherwise. With OLL and PLL, I'd recommend the 2-look versions (since there are less cases). You also don't have to memorise each individual case, for eg, you can start with just memorising sune+anti sune and it'll solve OLL (this is what I did). I found that J Perm videos + reading a few reddit threads helped a lot. I've added a few J Perm links in the description (his tutorials are great)
