He had corrective heart surgery and has a G-tube. He is also absolutely adorable. Join me as I follow Everett over time, providing pediatric physical therapy treatment recommendations to help him get stronger, faster, and more mobile. I first met him when he was 11.5 months old. I am so excited to see him grow and change over time.

Hi, My 9 months old is not good at bearing weight on his legs, when we hold him upright, he stands on his toes and would start to bounce. How can I help him stand on his feet?

I see many babies that are not quite ready for standing who go up on their tiptoes when placed in standing. Often it means that their legs are not strong enough without standing on their tiptoes as well. If you have concerns about your baby, I recommend you consult with a local therapist.
