I sincerely hope this becomes a thing! It’s very interesting to think about how this corruption has taken over even the more more heroic protagonists: the Crystal Gems, Finn and Jake, (some of) The Powerpuff Girls. In the trailer we see even Bugs Bunny, the character who uses toon-logic to get out of any situation, is corrupted. That shows whatever this glitch is, it exists outside the rules and laws of those shows universes; and treats these fictional characters as such: just characters. And I am HERE for it!! Legit like a baby shows such as blue clues or Dora being forced to grow up she was in her little bubble doing her own thing and this not only popped it, but gave her a taste of hell the reality of the world out side. it reminds me of those late nights when the shows would glitch and be alittle un settling it all about lost episodes horror and it fantastic. There are videos that explain the lore and they do it way bwtter than my summed up version does

Personally, I think it makes sense they did this as a trailer instead of as an episode. The big selling points of Pibby seem to be the wide-range crossovers and Pibby’s journey & evolution. I think this is a really good theory. I’ve watched the short multiple times now and I keep wondering why all the infected characters are smiling. And the way you put it, with the “stupid smiling faces that mean nothing”, really makes sense since some cartoons and reboots now have definitely done that. Where the characters are just always having nonsense adventures with bright colors and truly no significance just to hold a child’s attention. I really do hope this becomes a show, however I do think getting certain characters to be voice acted might be a little complicated. We've seen that it's possible; after all, Fred Flintstone had voice acting in the trailer. But what I'm scared of is that some well-known voice actors may not want to portray their characters in the manner in which their represented here. I know that if somebody didn't want to do voice work for a twisted version of a character that they were known for playing, Warner Bros could easily get another voice actor. But for a show that seems to be a celebration of cartoon Network and adult swim history, albeit A demented one, that would feel a little bit dirty.

With Pibby, Milera, and Alloy Boy (creator showed the credits, that's what Beta Boy's final name is) trying to find a place they belong in the saved multiverse after discovering that they don't "fit" in with their respective worlds anymore? Maybe discovering that being together with each other is their new home, and traversing the multiverse for whatever may come their way next. I can see two seasons at most with this, and maybe a game adaptation or interquel. Though I don't see how LWB would be better as a movie - especially a TV one. It'd be like Last Airbender all over again: trying to cram an entire season's worth of content into a limited time frame, no doubt losing a lot of the original charm and identity the original concept had in the process.

@@diino8081 Gumball's creator is Ben Bocquelet, while Pibby's creator is Dodge Greenley. They most likely are working together, but in a "I'll let you use my characters" kind of thing. Problem with that is that Joy is ridiculously bright, colorful, and loud with its victims; by that I mean the victims themselves are loud and very outspoken; and eventually just kills them. While the Void is very muted, colorless, and silent overall, while it's victims are more or less preserved as they are unless they leave it - which is normally impossible. The Void also has a very different indication of presence compared to the Glitch. The former outright breaks the world down into itself, as shown in the Inquisition, whereas the latter outright expands and layers itself over the world. Joy also acts more like a typical virus, albeit a very weird one, spreads itself exclusively through proxies like one, and needs to be triggered; The Void does not. Plus, both Joy and The Void are parts of Gumball's world. The Glitch is not a part of any world, which is why it's such a major threat.

Hey, invader zim fan here. Invader Zim can be considered a “Horror” cartoon, but it’s not necessarily a horror cartoon. It’s a delectably disturbing show, but I don’t think it’s really a horror show. Courage, Gravity Falls, and Over the Garden Wall, even Adventure Time sometimes, are definitely Horror Cartoons, Invader Zim is Just dark and more edgy. Hope that clears it up! On clearer inspection of the channel in question I seem like a total idiot, excuse the doucheness of the comment and take the best parts and serious ideas and use that to make a decision on the genre of Zim
