There is something I really like about Pibby and is how the glitch zombies behave. We only see Finn and Jake for a moment, but from I can see they are not just mindless generic zombies or just the hive mind controlling their bodies, if you see their expressions, especially Finn's, you can see that they act like they would normally, Finn uses his sword to attack and Jake uses his powers,the way Finn's face expressions changes when he finds Pibby, going from "I think I heard something" to "There you are!" with a smile, in another context it's the kind of expressions he would make after finding an evil monster or smt like that, but here is completely different, chasing innocent people to assimilate them, that is what makes this glitch zombies so unsettling without being too edgy.

Alright, so here me out: Remember those leaked beta sketches of Pibby's progression throughout the series? And how at the end her arm is consumed by that glitchy darkness? What if those bandages she has on her arm in the trailer aren't to cover a injury, but instead hide her arm. Maybe something happens and instead of instantly being corrupted, little bits and pieces of Pibby's arm corrupt over time. Think of it like someone hiding their walker bite in the walking dead.

my theory is that the glitch puts everyone into a state where they *think* everything is normal, but not just normal, super duper happy, and thats why they have the massive smiles. Because you see a scene where Bunbun escapes the gltich, and then it cuts to bunbun *not* escaping the glitch. My theory is that if this becomes a true show we'd get things out of order, and parts that are from bun bun's false perspective.

Honestly hope Robot Jones makes an appearance as a survivor Since he was mistreated heavily by the network and barely had anytime to shine in his appearances in other crossover material I’d like to see him get another shot at a semi main role I’d imagine him as being aware of his shows cruel fate (melira and alloy-boy recognize their tropes but maybe this is a stretch from that) and both terrified and excited of his new adventure hell he could even betray the others and be willingly corrupted he already has a pro robot stance and in the shows planned end he would have wiped out humanity terminator style not to mention he’s very easy to manipulate

Knowing Adult Swim, the monster is probably an Animation file that got corrupted and melded with a computer virus like Abraxas or the Morris Worm. It would make sense given how cartoons for the past 20 years have almost entirely digital

The first thing I thought of when I saw the corruption coming for everyone. Was the Smooze from the original My Little Pony movie. Growing up I realised not many heroes cartoon or otherwise could fight it. Now Pibby has definitely confirmed it in more ways than one lol Though I think the corruption personally could be something like the Nothing from Never Ending Story. Just out to absorb and conquer like a cancer.

So heres a fan theory ive been cooking up. For a while now ive noticed that a lot of cartoons seem to have this mistical black ick. This is what we see in learning with pibby, albiet less just goop and more pixely, but its the same concept. Ive thought about this even before pibby. It started by connecting the gendy tarticofsky cartoons, in a timeline, the original would be Aku, a foce of evil coming from a black ick. Then I think PPG would be next because the professor is like samurai Jack and mojo jojo looks like aku. Not quite black ick but its the connection here. And the big one is that Gendy's most recent series Primal, has a black ick that when consumed turns creatures into monsters. But ive also noticed in it other cartoons. Over the garden wall is a neat example, oil, a black gooey substance, is what keeps the beast alive. The turtles also seem to secrete a black ick that works similar to the one in primal. (making the dog a visous wolf) And theres one in Centaur World if youve seen that more recent netflix cartoon, the nowhere king is basically a being made of black ick. speaking of, more perdinant to this theory, the lich when broken out of amber becomes black goo before forming into its usual self. And there's probably other examples that can be found, like i imagine tar pits where at least mentioned at some point in the flinstones. And if we include the glitchy part of this, we can find even more examples! Like people have made comparisons to the amazing world of gumball's void, because of the TV static. This is probably a combination and mutation of both of these things, ocuring in every cartoon some way or another, weather we notice it or not.

I have a theory. What if when the shows are corrupt their shows are now canceled and people no longer care for them. Maybe the glitch is just trying to give these shows a reboot of some kind by making them all dark and scary. Some other shows I like to see is Billy and Mandy The Knd Fosters Home and also Flapjack and Courage.

My idea of what the glitch monster is quite simple. It's time almost every character seen in the video have either, got cancelled, finished up their series or are on their last leg And I think the one who caused all of this could be Mickey mouse. That point is a shot in the dark but since all of these characters are either owned or made by Warner brothers (which is somewhat of a rival to Disney) that are being corrupted it would not surprise me if the show was a warning for companies to not be bought out by Disney There's a good amount of evidence supporting this case but that is my theory of the glitch monster

I don't think that's very likely, because Gumball is getting an upcoming movie AND at least one more new season. Ok, i might be crazy, but i have a theory. So Rob and the computer are working together to destroy the TAWOG universe (there was an episode where they show random videos or smth). Thats when Rob got the remote in an episode (the episode where Rob was given a remote by a man in a Van). Skip to the end of the 2nd part, Rob goes back in time, and destroys the remote. Meaning, that Rob remembers everything. While gumball and the others don't remember it. After that event, Rob realized that he has been wrong. And wanted to save everyone and warn them about the computer's upcoming attack. But he couldnt tell them directly, thats why Rob pretended to be mr evil. And Turned everyone into human forms. So he can bring them all into the real world. But his plan failed miserably, and when he was about to tell them, Tina smacked him with her tail until Rob passes out. The computer knew that Rob was going stop him his plan, so he sent Rob into the void again. So to cut it short, my theory ia that the computer and Rob were working together, Rob felt guilty, then tried to warn them but failed. Then, Rob falls into the void. But hey, Thats just a theory, a film theory

I know I also commented about this on the 'Explaining every reference' video, but I do still think the theory of a possible nick backdoor being related to that one ad that CN aired on nick a while back sounds somewhat possible. It could show that there's still links between the two cartoon universes, although not direct links, as the ad was played on a block that nick themselves weren't keeping an eye on. If Pibby needed to escape the glitch, maybe one of the characters who appear in that specific ad could show her and the other survivors where it is? We see Buttercup in the huge fight scene near the end of the pilot, and she was in that specific ad, so maybe she would be the one to show them where the backdoor is? The scenes that show the Nick worlds don't show any signs of corruption or threats nearby, so maybe, if Nick is involved, these cartoon worlds are areas where Pibby and the others are able to recollect their thoughts and focus on creating a plan. Maybe once the corruption finds the backdoor, it's able to track them down, which is why we see multiple cartoon worlds shown from Nick. Maybe I'm getting my hopes up, but if Nick does get involved with this, it could be a cool concept. Maybe, if the AI theory is somewhat correct, it could be used as a hiding place for the survivors of the corruption? The AI won't be keeping an eye on those places, and we've already seen that ads can be accessed by Pibby and the others in the pilot (where the kid was). Even if Nick isn't going to be involved here, the idea that ads could be used as ways to access the different cartoon universes, or be used as safe spots where the corruption might not find them, sounds super interesting to me and I hope that it's used more than a simple one-off joke. Also, off topic for a second, but I saw someone else point out that the Buttercup shown in the promo art for Pibby (the corrupted one), is actually the reboot version of Buttercup, and the one shown in the pilot itself (the un-corrupted one) is the original one from the og series. Apparently you can tell the difference because the way the hair is drawn is slightly different for each design. So maybe when it comes to reboots, the originals and the reboot versions will be separate characters, kind of like what was shown in that one Teen Titans Go special.

My guess for how the show might handle cameos could always be a mix of both random background appearances as well as full episodes about how the characters get taken over. E.G. one episode could be a spoof of Slasher Flics featuring Mystery Inc getting picked off one by one, while another episode could be focused mostly on the original characters/worlds where cameos happen effectively randomly.

Theory: The reason all of the characters are early versions of themselves/fan favorite characters is because the glitch is literally CN consuming the creativity of those series and turning it into happy stories with happy characters needing happy endings. Why use Beta Boy when they could plug more Teen Titans Go? Because vocal animation fans, for a long time, made it known how much they didn't like the series.

I have a few theories regarding the glitch and potential other antagonist in the series should it be greenlit: -the glitch could be assimilating people to learn from them, as like a dark mirror to Pibby's home world where the story begins. Hell, it could even be someone FROM her world who got turned into this somehow to forcibly gain knowledge from people. -alternatively, it could be broken and assimilating people to fix itself and give itself a proper form. Or maybe its trying to make some sort of perfect world? who knows. -We could see a cult worshipping it and trying to help it, or jsut outright have corrupted characters less like the zombies we see in the brief clips and more like thinking antagonists in their own right.

One of my theories is that the corruption is being led by not just a virus but 1 or more deleted cartoons characters that never were Greenlit and somehow escapes being deleted, along with a few others from different deleted shows. They then found our that they aren't real and have to deal with the knowledge that they lives they had were for someones else's entertainment. They become nomads, travelling through the cartoon multiverse with a burning hatred for the cartoons we know and love, being either jealous of their shows because they had their show taken away or either hating the cartoons because they are part of the reason their show got cancelled. Knowing that they can't hurt the person in the real world, they decide to destroy everything they created. They somehow get inside someones computer and mess with the files to make a virus to corrupt the cartoon world, soon going to other shows and networks. That's my theory.

Perhaps it starts with OG Teen Titans, Control Freak creating a virus to lure the Titans in, but it becomes out of control and reprograms itself into the corruption, taking control freak, then the Titans, then it's Universe, then spreads to Pibby's world, and takes off from there. what if it doesnt have a single source, but is a mutation of some substance found throughout many cartoons? What if its the same thing, when you see black goo, or glitches, in any cartoon? Aku, was born of black goo. The beast in over the garden wall survives on oil, a black goo. The lich from adventure time can take the form of black goo. And on the glitch side, like many have mentioned, the void from gumball has a similar effect. And probably more examples.

Because, when Fred gets corrupted and you see all of the faces of the corrupted Characters, I see that as face icons for a show-select screen. And Pibby, the sidekick-person and Melira represent the few people who are trying to save cable.

I didn't get to see your videos before, but I thought of something fun the Pibby show could do. If the show doesn't end up having certain characters actually fighting the Distortion before taking over, one creative thing that would REALLY make things interesting, is having the creators, if possible create a whole extra episode showing what happened to them. For a few ideas I had: Adventure Time always has some villain, so it'd be interesting to have Bubblegum warn Finn and Jake about some strange thing that's slowly overtaking the kingdoms, and they would go around trying to talk to people, and deal with the situation, before being overtaken by it, sooner or later. Not a confirmed show that would be in it, but if it was, this would make the MOST sense for this idea. Regular Show has a whole bunch of wacky and crazy situations that happens to them, and it would be kinda crazy to have an episode for it, even if they weren't overtaken by it. It would start with very normal things, just as every episode does, until some weird godly being, or something else, tells them that something strange is happening, being the 2 they are, they may ignore the warnings, or try to go for it, and end up either being overtaken, as the others, or, with their wacky nature, one or two finding a way to escape. I have other ideas, but they'd probably be less interesting as they are more logic-based cartoons (like Craig.) I do have a pretty awesome idea for Steven Universe, but that'd be a longer one to describe, due to the nature of Steven Universe in general.

Remember when Ian JQ talked about how hard it was to get all those old characters to appear in the OK KO crossover, because they had to dig up the model sheets for each and every one? I guess (if for no reason other reason, somehow) that'd be why no actual characters from other networks could appear. Because they wouldn't have access to their model sheets. I wonder if the same thing applies to backgrounds...? Probably not, but idk.

I'm honestly fairly sure the glitch monster turns anything it makes contact with into "normal" entities, I mean, its clear any cartoon character taken by it can stretch to unnatural degrees going by the overly sized smiles, and they take on the liquid/gaseous nature of the glitch monster itself, but that seems to be the extent of any abilities they keep. This might mean that it does the same with the various cartoon characters powers and abilities before they're taken in, hence why super strength and heat vision don't work, but regular non-special weapons do. Otherwise the super hero characters that get taken would end the good guys fight before it gets a chance to really be a "Fight" by super strength fly tackling people into the glitch monster itself. This basically means it can technically beat beings like One Punch Man, Meme Shaggy, Uncle Grandpa, and so on, joke characters run off of fiction power....

I hope pibby also includes video-game spin-offs (The Cuphead Show, etc...), anf i think it would be interesting seeing The Cuphead Show or Hollow Knight Shorts on KZbin getting in this thing.

In the poster, there is Reboot Ben's hand. Reboot Ben's are just nerfed original Ben and yet, he is still powerful. If Reboot Ben got corrupted, of course the Original Ben is gonna be corrupted as well. He can transform into corrupted Alien X, that Alien can recreate the universe if he wants to. Not to mention, he can blink his eye and you'll be gone from existence.

I don't think Reboot Ben has the access to Alien-X unlocked I mean that Evil Ben did it in Alien-Xstinction but he didn't it on purpose Also all other series shown sign that they are early in their series so probably he isn't even going to have RockShock/ShockRock/Whatever it is called

Two things that I really want to see as something that they could put gravity falls in as a way to maybe figure out how the glitch came to be and another thing I would like to see would be Ben 10 because I want to see what would happen if they brought these shows into the series if they make it and I hope they do because this concept is so crazy that it is awesome
