One for the watch list! Theater within movies can be a really fruitful scenario.

I believe Albert Finney to be the greatest British actor of all time. Several actors have equaled his chameleon skills (Daniel day Lewis, Gary Oldman, etc) but NONE have been able to have heart in all of their performance and maintain that subtlety like Albert Finney

thank you. Later this year, I'll be inviting viewers to submit such lists. Will make a video on "best movies to use in a class," and a list like this will come in handy.

I listed only 9. The tenth would be David lynch's Mulholland drive. You should analyze a lynch film professor.

Watched ‘The Dresser’ on Wednesday and was very grateful for the experience. Fine film. Watched ‘The Story of the Last Chrysanthemum’ (1939, dir. Mizoguchi) on Thursday, and just wanted to recommend it to anybody who enjoyed the Yates’ picture. It follows the story of a Kabuki actor (who ironically specializes in playing female roles) who relies on the support of his wife to hone his acting skills to the point that he can return to the biggest stage and win his fandom. Of course, it is the female in this story who is used up and ultimately sacrifices her life.
