Honestly the whole reason he lives in Greenville is for the cheap cost but also he's a big fish in a small pond but it's not a super small pond. There's a university here, a huge hospital, there's industry here. It's close to the beach, close to the big city of Raleigh. It's an escape and not really in the middle of nowhere either. Most of the young people around here aren't really into Mr Beast. Most of the kids here go to ECU. It's a liberal arts school. It's obvious to a lot of them that he's kind of a huckster.

Fun fact: the reason that the lottery being pay to enter only is a problem is because it requires a gambling license and is scrutinized heavily. If they are pay to enter only they are qualified as a "raffle" rather than some general "giveaway" which woukd only require TSDF processing. Raffles need their paid ticketed entries submitted for tracking (in this case they could possibly try passing the receipts off as the "tickets"). Big rip for Mr Beast.

I have eaten a Feastables bar. Kroger had them for like half price once while i was grocery shopping so i bought one of the milk chocolate bars. I'd place it somewhere between Hersheys and Dove. I am no true chocolate connoiseur, so take with a grain of salt. All I can say is that when I'm high, almost all sweets taste good. This was no exception. Did it exude quality? Meh.

This is significantly more expensive than one of those candy shops in the mall.

I just find it interesting that we (referring to those who are able to critically think enough to be moderately aware of the situation, Objectively) tend to say that we would be happier or appreciate it if he was a piece of s*** or things worked the way that we expected them. I've never watched a Mr Beast video but my wife, who didn't know who he was, has bought me the Feastables candy bars multiple times. I was never aware of the lottery angle of the candy's. After getting the candy I googled him and found out who he was. Anyway I did legit think the candy was really good. Not being a troll. She mainly bought them because of the "only 5 ingredients" and the fact that they don't have milk in them and most chocolate bars at the grocery store have milk in them.

My kids got on the Mr Beast wagon during the pandemic and had to put up with me telling them all the ways he was a horrible person, just based on the stuff he was publicly putting out. They understood my opinion but still watched because everyone watches him and you need to keep up with your peers. honestly the mr beast stuff doesn't really matter to me that much, hes just doing what other companies do, but is under more scrutiny because, i dont know, mr beast was on youtube, making him feel more green? Like mcdonalds coast to coast, basically a lottery (you could still mail in, but he seems to have a problem with that), was practically the same, the mailing, and also the rigged aspect too. He's not much different to other things, and i dont really care much for lotteries... they just shouldn't exist, having more money shouldn't change your life so drastically and it sucks that companies even wanna bank off of that. Parents need to teach their kids about this weird predatory behaviour, not promote it by allowing it. I guess im sort of victim blaming... Like these sorts of things have always existed, and we as people need to be aware and protect each other from that, because mrbeast isnt doing anything really new. Good video, but i cant stop myself from beinging up the hard brain comments. You want a soft wet brain. Yes its true that your brain starts off liquid and gets more solid but there is a peak performance point where your brain is solod enough to hold form but soft enough to change shape. The fact is that I work in a freaking steel mill pouring molten aluminum and it absolutely sucks there.
