Using Sharepoint to customize your Microsoft Teams site is a lot easier than people think. Plus, it's fun. You can add so many useful features and feeds into your Teams site that it makes sense to learn this skill and apply it as soon as possible.
Your work teams and students will work even more effectively once you learn the skill in this video - give it a try and comment below.

open in sharepoint doesnt exist anymore. You can open the "files" tab, go to the three dots button there and from there you can say "open in sharepoint"

Here is a topic you might want to tackle on a video... How to place focused dashboards in a teams channel from access databases? Teams that manage data might be interested on this. Great video!!! cheers

There are some great changes to Teams as well that help with this - at least the Education version. They’ve added the Home Page right at creation time.

That’s fantastic to hear - the fact that the backend to Teams is SharePoint isn’t as well advertised as it should be - it creates a lot of flexibility and I think you’ll find it an excellent platform for collaboration and productivity. I know I keep finding more uses over time. Let me know if there are any areas that I can help out by creating resources on. Thank you very much for your comment.

Very clear. One question: I have many teams but I only use a few “channels” or “folders” from them. How can I put a landing page in Teams that show all this folders/channels access? (take in mind that some folders are sub/sub folders of another set of sub folders so there are a lot of “clicks”

I have a private Team but I want a public page linked to the Team so I can share news about my Teams work with coworkers throughout the whole company. Is there a way do make a page public?

Hi-- I asked this same question after another one of your videos about embedding websites in Teams. Since this video is more recent I thought I'd ask here, too-- apologies for the duplication. I have a question about SharePoint pages or websites embedded in Teams that I haven't seen anyone address. In the many instructional videos about embedding SharePoint sites/pages and websites in Teams, I NEVER see anyone fully using the site they've embedded-- going to the site in Teams, clicking on some links, and then trying to go back and forth in the site. I've embedded both websites and SharePoint pages in Teams and then had to abandon those tabs because clicking on any link would lead to a dead end. There are no browser navigation buttons-- no back, no forward. And clicking on the Teams navigation button takes me out of the site tab and to a previous tab or page within Teams. Maybe there's a way to include navigation buttons within the embedded sites in Teams... Do you know? Thanks.

Hi Kayla, my solution for this is that each SharePoint page I create (talking about the one attached to my MS Team) has a corresponding channel in MS Teams where I link the SharePoint page. That way if they are mainly in SharePoint they have access to the navigation bar, but if they are mainly working in the Teams environment then there is a way for them to navigate to each page via the corresponding teams channel. Hope that makes sense!

I feel the title and contents don't fit together. Perhaps retitle-ing the video might be a good idea. Discrepancy I see: Title suggests how to create a website, which might be interpreted in very general terms. The video content however rather shows how to create a "post" based on the infrastructure specified by sharepoint. In more easier words: The video does not show how to create a html-file-based website within teams, which the title strongly suggests.
