I used to live in Poole, Dorset. One of the most expensive cities in UK..i used to pay 900£ for a 2 beds flat a month..and along with Bournemouth, own a property there is impossible…should be on this list definitely

Is the monthly salary figure before or after tax? Very misleading. If it's after tax, I don't think London Average is as high as £3200/month

There is no single Affordable City to Live anywhere in entire England anymore ! With current salaries in the UK you must work for 90 years without taking any holiday and day offs .. Without spending a penny of your monthly income , You could afford to buy a house of your own after 90 years of slavery work.
