@@chaunguyen2239 when we talk about Chinese or Mandarin we all know that we are from China or we have roots from China ,thanks to Qin Shihuang unified Chinese script in 213 BC. but when it comes to english,dude,i just dont know where your roots are.these are two different languages,and you should stop pretending that they are the same.Chinese is Chinese, we have Cantonese and Mandarin,and others are all dialects.It is not difficult to respect history and the way how Chinese treat our own language before you learn it ,right?

Some tips for understanding Taiwanese mandarin pronunciation: 1. shi often becomes something similar to si; chi > ci(tsi); zhi > zi(dsi) (basically just pronounce everything more with the front part of your mouth) 2. r > l so you'll often hear ren2 (people) pronounced as len2 3. a lot of abbreviated sounds for example: zhe4 yang4 > jiang4; bu2 yao4 > byao 4 4. omitted consonants: da4 jia1 > da4 a1; hao3 xiang4 > hao3 iang4; y in the middle of a word sounds often like it is omitted such as mei2 you3 > mei2 ou3 or xiang3 yao4 > xiang3 ao4 (of course it is not completely omitted but pronounced very quickly and lightly) (not necessarily 100% correct, just concluded from my personal speech as a Taiwanese :)

Is there a way to get the transcript? I'd like to read the Chinese subtitles in like a PDF or Google Docs. And another question: Are there any plans on Easy Taiwanese (Tâi-gí)?
@chaunguyen22394 жыл бұрын
you can download the video, screenshot every sentence, write down the sentences yourself/use character recognition program to extract the written docs.
@u-tone19973 жыл бұрын
You can just use Google translate (on phone), take a photo and let the app recognize the characters, then copy them down
