My Calc bc teacher told us in the beginning of the year that the calculus wasn't hard, it's the algebra that kills you. Even if you understand the concept, when you have to do tons of steps, you're bound to make a mistake that ruins the whole solution

@@danielm17 AP lang isn’t about writing any kind of essay. You have to know how to rhetorically analyze speeches, documents, conversations and etc. There are 3 types of essays you have to master: synthesis (6 sources, one conflict you have to resolve), rhetorical analysis (analyze how the author conveys their message and whether they did a great job) and argumentative essay. But it doesn’t even end on that! You need to be able to analyze huge passages in limited time. They give you 6 passages (each approximately a page long), and then you get 9-12 questions. It’s way more complicated than writing an essay. (Btw, I’m sorry if your comment was sarcastic and I just didn’t recognize it)

AP Human is kinda like AP Psych- if you can remember the 70+ terms, and sound smart when integrating that vocab into the FRQs then you'll be fine. As for AP World- I can see how it could be difficult for some, but the 2022 test was so fricking easy🤣🤣

Music Theory AP is definitely one of if not the hardest. A lot of it is skills and concepts that are super difficult to understand if you’re not already VERY musically inclined, even for musicians.

The thing with the AP exams is that it's all about how good you are at a subject relative to other people that take the test. Like AP german the expectation that you're pretty good at German. On the other hand a lot of people take AP calc or Physics and stuggle a lot so if you can do a handful of problems correctly you can do pretty well.

As somone who got a 5 on it last year: when you get closer to the exam date watch the heimler’s history review vids and keep an eye out for his review live streams (the 3 days leading up to the test), and also practice practice practice writing essays to fit the rubric. I also sat down with some friends and did a full prac test which I thought was helpful with like pacing and stuff

My teacher unenrolled me from ap comp sci as a mercy, it was in fact entirely unintuitive. Ap stats was my worst that I took, ap lit/lang were both easy, and all you need for ap gov is to memorize the court cases and amendments.

@@Anonymous183-can you listen to a random sample of music and be able to identify the complicated chord progression with only 2/3 listens, write out the soprano and bass lines with rhythms, cadences and musical literary techniques, hear and identify chords, scales and intervals with 1-2 listens, or look at a piece of music and sight sing it accurately on beat with the correct intervals? If you can’t do these things you’re screwed for about 75% of the AP exam

You described how to get a 3 on Lang. getting a single upper third score in Lang is damn hard. You need to have a complex understanding of the argument and/or the ability to write a flawless LoR. So while it might not be hard to pass, it will not be easy to get a good grade.

Id like to say, to get a license to drive around my area is to be seizure free for 6 months. You require A LOT of tests to even be verified by a doctor to drive. Ive had EEGs and MRIs (Sadly I have seizures for life even with meds)

I took AP US history (agree) AP government (easy) and both World History and German...I got a 5 on all of mine, but I agree that German was the hardest...I ultimately received one of my baccalaureate degrees in German Language & Literature, but it's very difficult to study for the exam as a lot of the impromptu speaking portions and writing drills were on completely random topics, so there wasn't much to be done for it besides literally just watching TV in German for weeks on end...which was difficult to access in 2004 when I took the exam 😂😂😂

Legit for the dbq knowing the rubric is more important than the actual history, as only 2 pts actually come from your historical analysis. Know something for every region and you can bullshit the context statement easily. Lean on the documents. Know the Mughals are a muslim minority ruling over a hindu majority, they like them for some reason. KNOW YOUR TRADE ROUTES. Know China. You’ll be fine.)

Since the AP world curriculum has changed there is a lot less material to study it’s only from 1200-present when it used to be all of human history like Mesopotamia, and tang dynasty the average on APWH is a 2.96 after in 2021 it was a 2.71 I wouldn’t worry to much to people who want to take apwh when he took it, it was a much harder curriculum

I took AP human geography and Covid happened so when I went to take the test, they changed it from 6 frq’s and 40 multiple choice to 2 frq’s and no multiple choice

Don’t know how the GPA dropped but AP really doesn’t matter, my Participation in Government teacher lectured us on how it doesn’t matter. He has a daughter that wanted to take 3 AP classes for one year but he got her to take 0.

AP Chem isn't on here because you have to be a masochist to willingly go through the pit of hell that is that class funnily enough I did do that and it was an entire year of torture by the time I took the exam I no longer knew happiness I don't know why I stayed there we started with 15 or so students and by the second half of the year it was just me and 3 others because everyone else dropped the class somehow I still managed to get a 3 on the exam but my ADHD having ass was not capable of handling that coursework it was so unbelievably difficult
