I don't know if this game got reprinted with the new Kickstarter going on but it suddenly got really easy to find at retail price or cheaper. Anyway, when I was first learning and playing the game, I was thinking I was missing something so I watched your video and it turns out the game really is that easy to learn! One game that I still have fun with when I am dying a lot!

Have now enjoyed 2 play throughs and I’m loving it expect for one little part that I don’t quite understand - if you manage to defeat the star spawn, does it respawn every time stated? Yes dying and respawning constantly! They don’t respawn if both are on the board

Hello! May i ask? The elder one may be summoned between a player actions, rolls etc? Or at the end of his turn? And when he is summoned expect when revealed effects we must active and the end of each turn effects? Or they count from the next round? Thx!! I love ur channel!!

Thanks for watching and for the questions. So first can an Elder One be summoned between a player's actions. No, there are only two ways an Elder One is summoned which are checked during the end of turn (check the Elder One summoning) which are having the Elder One enter the first red space on the track or the ritual is disrupted this turn. Which is also referred to on page 18 stating If the investigators disrupt the ritual, the Elder One is summoned at the end of the turn. Now once an Elder One is summoned you can progress the the next stage as soon as you do enough damage this can happen even between a players actions. I am not sure what you are asking in the second question for sure, but you would resolve the when revealed effect when the Elder one is summoned and each time a new stage card is revealed for the Elder one that lists a when revealed effect. Hope this helps;)

Just asking. For Elizabeth, you kept using stress to reroll and her ability/skill allows her to re-roll once for free. so you shouldn't have used that stress for the one re-roll. Right?

Correct, I should of noted it in the video that she had a skill that allowed her to do this, but I was just trying to show the basics of each character and not taking their skills into account during this explanation. hi, we just played through our first go of this game. we found the instructions really ambiguous, this is the most complex game we have tried as are just only getting into board games. now the game is over I'm watching your clip to try to resolve some questions, disclaimer I'm only at 23 minutes so far, but I have some questions: 1/ should the character have been able to shoot from the room at the start without any line of sight to the occultists? this seemed wrong. 2/ you move the characters 1 room as one move point , it seemed like the tiles were following a grid and I'd have thought it would have taken 2 of the possible 3 move distance to get to the first occultis. one out of the room, one down, what is the reason one room is counted as only one part of the move, is this normal? 3/ you state you can't continue a move after a fight, does it say this? I was trying to use what I understand of some dungeons and dragons rules as best as I could where you can complete your remaining move distance if you have left over, We were definitely having to make a call on what we thought the spirit of the rules were, and were not confident on doing things correctly, we lost our episode, but we tried. I'll have some more questions once I've finished you clip, thank you for your sevice

In this game there is no line of sight if you have an ability such as marksmen that allows you to attack an enemy one space away as long as the space is connected by passageways you are good. 2. So with tiles they are detailed on page 9 of the rulebook and a room is only considered multiple spaces if it is divided by walls. Some tiles like the one with the human shadow are considered one space. 3. It is not stated that way in the rules, but on Board Game Geeks forums it is clarified that you can't interrupt an action to start another action. One important thing with board games each one is self contained so try to not pull from other systems as it will confuse you even more. I hope this helps clear up some of your questions and I will have a play through video coming soon that might help you as well.

It sit there for a while, until someone came up to my dad and said "hey Josh, I heard that your daughter is a total nerd, you want this?" Thanks for watching and for the question. The cap is only for a single action or attack. So if you hit a cap on your first attack action and then do another one you will continue to lose sanity if you or the monster roll it.
