The timer and timer phase reminds me of a timer from the game They Live. It looks very similar. A lot of the play seems like They Live also. I have The Thing and love it. Both games are very thematic.

I have not tried They Live, but had a great time with The Thing and the production quality was great with it as well;) Thanks for watching and posting.

Can this game be played solo? I'm worried about the semi coop aspect when playing with various characters.

Yes it can, I did it for the play through video that is coming soon and it worked out really well. You can also play it as just a full coop and take out the option to win on your own. Thanks for what question and for watching;)

Huge fan of this movie but need to see more gameplay. Just not sold at moment. 2 negatives for me, first, do not like the board at all. Just doesn’t give me the impression it’s Manhattan Island. It just looks like a bunch of squares. Second, I’m not a fan of still shots from movies etc. Why not use art?

I will have a play through video releasing during the campaign. So hopefully that will give you a better idea of the game. I understand about the still shots and agree. I was really disappointed when Upper Deck did that with some of their legendary games. Thanks for posting and watching the video.

@@LearntoPlayGames yes I have Legendary X-Files and wasn’t happy when I saw still shots. At least Alien and Predator had art.

I have no problem with still shots. It makes it feel more like I'm in the movie. I agree about the board though. Really don't like the 'bunch of squares' appearance whether certain tiles have been flipped over or not.
