There is no need for Descript. NotebookLM will transcribe. Just download the podcast's audio file and re-upload it. NotebookLM can then transcribe.

You’re missing the most important aspect of NotebookLM. It is not “just like ChatGPT or Claude”. It is grounded which means it only works with the sources you provide it. If you don’t upload at least one source, it won’t answer a question at all and if your source doesn’t deal with a question, it won’t be able to answer it either. This greatly reduces hallucinations and allows you to leverage the power of a LLM to focus deeply on whatever source or sources you upload.
@LearnWire2 ай бұрын
You took this litterally. I didn't mean they are exactly the same. I absolutely understand NLM will only get I fo from the data source you feed it. The point of the video was to show how to create videos from the unique podcast feature in notebook LM. Thx for watching.

People need to be made aware that notebookLM changes the content and injects its own ideas on what it believes should be stated. It completely deviates from the uploaded content and injects information from other sources. I uploaded a 2-page document that I wrote so I was fully aware of what it contained, the topic was focused on Christianity. It total contradicted the content and began to state a wider perspective, the sad part is it kept saying that the new information was contained in the document. What if I had uploaded 6 large PDFs that I didn't read, I would have left with what notebookLM wanted me to hear and not what the documents actually contained. The think should not be injecting its own ideas into uploaded content worst its actually tell people what it believes they should hear

Don't use AI for religious content, simple reason is that if you sample, say, 100 .. or 1000 sources for anything , say, Christianity, remember there are infinite dissenting opinions and interpretations of just about eveything. It's not like some mathematical axiom, you have the orthodoxies, protestant, non-affiliated churches, they all disagree with each other in subtle or non-subtle ways. Any AI can choke on religious or philosophical content, imho.
@Kori_INJNАй бұрын
@@wherezthebeef That's a powerful statement. However I thought NotebookLm only took its queues from the uploaded content. It works well for my Business Administration courses but as you said its going to be trying to satisfy all the views on the subject. @@InventionSchool from what I've seen, it does a great job identifying the speakers. You should double check it in different places, but it's been about 98% accurate for me. It can mismatch the speakers if they're talking over each other, but I suspect that's gonna happen with Descript as well. The few mismatches I've seen so far have been towards the end of the transcript, for whatever reason.

No one seems to know the answer to this question: Is there a way to load several sources in a notebook, ask a question and make a podcast out of that one answer (Note)? I even tried saving that answer into a Note then made that Note its own source, then made only that source active, but could find no way to create a podcast out of that single active source. I want to make several shorter podcasts from the many sources in my Notebook, not one long podcast. If anyone even knows if this is possible, I would appreciate the steps to do. Thanks in advance.

you are not understanding the opportunity. I already made $500k from affiliate commissions on KZbin. I am not currently looking to change what i am currently doing. I am not looking for a biz op. But..... for those that have no idea how to get started making money online or with KZbin, thats why I made this video. So you either see the opportunity and take it and make your own spin on it and then take massive action and stop questioning everyone or everything, or you simply move on. People love to critique other creators like me, but then you ask them to show me what you have done online and usually its crickets. My advice is if you got positive vibes from the method I shared and you can see yourself doing something similar, then go take action. If you got negative vibes then move on and find another biz op. This method I shared was not copied from any other notebook lm video. I made this exact method myself. But have I used it to make youtube channels and make money, no. I also didnt say I did that in the video. Good luck.

I see so many people getting the transcript of the generated podcast and then using some ElevenLabs or othe voices but that defeats the purpose, they never equal the realism, in context, of the Google Gemini-generated voices in terms of - natural flow, inflection, intonation, and all of the othe subtleties. But I have noticed that after a while, the standard NotebookLM voices 'wear me down' and I get tired of them, they seem almost predictable. Also I find cringe adding ai characters in a video over the voice, you have voices that sound real and 'fool' most people, so why tip your hand with fake AI characters in a video , there's no need for that at all and it's just goofy.
