I use Chrome, Edge, and Vivaldi. I like Vivaldi as it has a side panel on the left for quick icons to open pages. It doesn't switch the windows by pressing the icons but they might have an option for that. It does have the TAB feature like ARC. In fact the setting area for TAB has so many features it's almost confusing. Reliability/compatibility for me is 99.5% I don't have any issues with windows, extensions, etc. The only extension that didn't work for me is 2Slash and they fixed it. There is a Mac version and it says it has the TAB management features. Give it a try!

Don't those key combinations of "(Ctrl + Page Up) keys & to next tab (Ctrl + Page Down)" just toggle to the next tab in line, not between the 2 tabs you are using?

@@macbeta Not in my chrome browser and I can't find an article that shows that functionality ... and perplexity says it doesn't have that option. Can you provide a link that shows this?

Arc is a vulnerable mess. Thankfully, I haven't fallen for the hype and I've stuck with trusty Chrome. I'm also using Safari 5% of the time.
