I went to a 2 hour class on braiding; got so frustrated that I walked out and never came back. 15 minutes here and I am confident that I can braid. Thank you!

Chuck I love that your videos are up forever. Great teaching tools. Question - in a 4 strand braid, how much length is lost? If you start with 12 inch strands how long will the braid be? I want to make a lanyard that will easily slip on and off the neck.

How do you calculate length of lace if I want to make a longer lanyard for something like a lanyard for a knife if a biker wallet? And how would you finish off a braid with a swivel clip on both ends?
@kellyhayes5 жыл бұрын
I was wondering the same thing, I would like a clip on mine instead of the O ring
@WeaverLeatherSupply5 жыл бұрын
Hello Nathan. It depends on the thickness and the stretch of the leather or lace but we haven’t actually measured it. It would probably be around about an inch per foot. Hope this helps! Good luck!

You can totally do it! Don't give up, I promise that with enough effort, it WILL "just click" for you, and you'll be off and running. Starting the braid is far and away the most difficult part of the process. I reccomend finishing with either a back braided loop, or a wall and crown knot.

Hi Bob, Unfortunately, at this time we do not carry the beads but they can be found on most craft stores or on Amazon. We are looking at adding some beads, just narrowing down the sizes and designs at this point!

I ordered that lace machine, it came with NO blades so how are you supposed to use it. Also no way o=to order blades and it looks like you could really hurt/cut yourself if you did have blades trying to install them, also no instructions on how to do that. tell me how to return it as I asked for blades and have been waiting for a couple months for customer service tos end something.
Where are you getting the beads with a 7 mm hole? I’m searching Amazon but no luck so far.
@WeaverLeatherSupply5 жыл бұрын
Hi there, I found these on Amazon and now I can't find them anywhere! We are adding beads to our line, they will be available in 3.5 mm to 6 mm and we'll be sure to mention it when we have them in stock.
