Leather Falconry Glove || DIY || Leathercraft

My girldfriend is doing falconry and she uses leather gloves every day to work with the birds. I can work with leather, so I had to make her a custom glove!

It’s paste wax, to protect the leather, and liquid contact cement, to glue the pieces of leather together

Hi , I have my glove made and the problem I'm facing is the grommet, the shaft of the grommet is not long enough to go through 3 layers of leather any suggestions? Your video is the best! Thanks

Maybe you can find bigger grommet that could handle this much layers of leather ?

I based my glove on another one, and made my own template. It's quite easy to make the glove template, I just tried a few different options by trial and error for the thumb part.
