Braveheart Sword Leather Handle || DIY

A client has a copy of the sword from the movie Braveheart, and he wanted to replace the plastic-leather with real leather. I wet molded leather around the different parts so it fits perfect!

I have this exact sword! Thanks for sharing video. Mine is named lifted. Is this the technical name for the style of sword, a Braveheart sword?

What adhesive are you using in this video?

I used contact cement. That's the easiest thing to glue leather to something else !

what's the thickness of the leather you are working with?

It was about 3mm thick
