Neil Elliott totally agree! I love both the edt and the Parfum. Men can totally wear both. I wouldn’t personally wear the edt, but I have two bottles of the Parfum because I am so afraid that I will never be able to get it here in the U.S. and I am in lovvvve.

I almost bought the sleek suade in a duty free recently but never tried it so it's great to get an insight into what it's like. Francesca bianchi uses leather in the best way for me , from the loves tale to the black night and Cuir Soyeux. They are all leather but all unique and gorgeous in their own way 🍀

Black Saffron is great.........and I love Sleek Suede, its so soft but I love Splendid Wood more ;)..........Anubis is really great! My favorite leather scents are: Hallucinogenic Pearls, Galop and Byzanthinum Saffron and often wear Tyger Tyger.Chambre. Noir - it for the guys ;) I don't know Rose Cuir, but I love The Moon, better for guys. African Leather is a mans scent, too ;)

I like Floris Leather Oud. I'm glad the weather is such I can start wearing it again. Leather, bergamot, carnation, geranium, oud, patchouli, vetiver, amber wood. Warm, deep, somewhat sensual and also quite bright. The bergamot and carnation I suppose.

I smelled Rose Cuir and immediately was taken back to Hermès fragrances ive had fond memories with. Makes sense considering Jean Claude- Ellena is the nose so it has a very similar DNA to those classics

Sleek Suede was one of the few that I instantly loved from the line. Been layering with Zara's True Leather recently and pretty surprised at the quality. Reminds me of the leather in Shumoukh al Ghutra from Swiss Arabian. Great way to spice up a fruity floral.

I have two favorites, both very old school: Bel Ami from Hermes and Cuir Mauresque from Serge Lutens. I wear them to bed in the winter. I haven't liked any other leather fragrances for years until Rose & Cuir came along, although I get more Rose on my skin than I do Cuir, especially if you want to wear leather in the summer.

Before getting to my fav leather-ish frag., THANK YOU for your great descriptions and listing the frags u discuss in the video notes. some other reviewers include links (without names), so u have to click through each link just to see the name of a frag discussed. Ur videos r much more user friendly and keep me coming back again and again. Re leather style frags, I am a bit of a wimp. My fav is BDK Creme de Cuir, which is really a suede frag. To me, it is unisex, sophisticated, soft, elegant and it doesn’t make me gag like some other leather frags (self-proclaimed wimpy leather lover). Will check out some more of ur recos...

I love Ombre Leather but I feel as though it's very popular and a lot of people wear it. I was on the hunt for an alternative and then Goldfield & Banks released Purple Suede, which is so gorgeous and definitely reminds of OL but is doing its own thing and I ended up purchasing the full bottle at the end of the masterclass with Dimitri last Thursday. My other leather forward favorite fragrance is 1740 Marquis De Sade from Histoires Des Parfums. It's slightly sweet, resinous and so, sooo sexy. It smells incredible in the air and on my skin.

@@armenkaprelian Thick, dense leather-wrapped in sweetness which comes from very well blended notes of Vanilla, Tobacco, and Rum, and then you get this campfire and peat smoke which comes from a great blend of Birch and Ink. It is the most wearable of all BeauFort London fragrances IMHO but you'll need cold weather for this one

@@armenkaprelian It's not bitter at all but it is very sweet but not sharp it is rather a bit dull kind of sweet, although not cloying to my nose the very dense sweetness to some people might be overwhelming so 2 max 3 sprays are more than enough and it develops beautifully on my skin

I love leather and unisex fragrances but they’re usually leaning towards too masculine. I tried African Leather but a little too animalic and masculine. I like that on my husband but just not good on me. What other fragrances are more unisex? I have Yasmina from Kajal and I love its soft leathery accord after the dry down but the opening is too floral and feminine. I’m trying to look for something in between African Leather and Yasmina. Thanks!

I just ordered a new Zara fragrance called True Leather. I saw some surprisingly positive comments on this. Longevity, Quality and Sillage of this new range seems to be exceptionally high. I can't wait to try this one and Rose Gourmande which is the other one I bought. I would love to hear what you think of this new range of fragrances.

I find Tuscan leather dry and a bit harsh. O Leather is smooth in comparison. The raspberry of TL however is great.

Xerjoff Homme is a very strong smokey leather. Reminds me of my dad's old jaguar e-type when I was a kid, and riding in his customer cars in the 80's when people still smoked in ashtrays. They named the fragrance well as it's very manly; all the women I know who have smelled it dislike it either slightly...or strongly. Oh well! Great performance.

Clubman Special Reserve is hands down the most leathery, manly, and roughest leather fragrance out there. Nothing sweet or sophisticated about it like the ones on Sebastian's list. Check it out if you want something on the extreme end. Invokes images of Wade Garrett in Road House. Cheap too.

How about Molinard's Cuir, any thoughts on it, Sebastian? Other leathery fragrance that comes to mind is Dior Fahrenheit with its leathery aspect. PS. Best bang for buck leather scent is arguably Pinaud's Clubman Special Reserve, a wonderfully fresh leathery after shave.
