I'm no gear snob, but I work for a living. I've carried a quality Leatherman for like 15 years. I'd never carry anything multitool other than Leatherman.

Nice video! The Nextorch looks like a great option if you are looking for a mutiltool with shears from what I can see other than the Leatherman Raptor. I think the reason why Leatherman and Victorinox have normal sissors is, like you said, just regular use in a pinch. That's what makes mutiltools great though is the convince factor to save you time and energy also to help someone out when you don't have to go back to your dedicated tool kit. Which is why something like a Powerpint is so good, it's small, lightweight, and capable. I personally carry a Leatherman Skeletool for the same reason. I think it just depends on the category and person. "Carry what you need, and need what you carry." Also Victorinox has actual sissors available on amazon and if your looking for really good small ones the Westcott 2.5 inch sissors are awesome.

​@WillEDC there are just some tools that you would trust your life on... leatherman, victorinox, old US made SOG, the ones you show in the video are great, i also own some of those models, but i agree with him, some things aren't just comparable.

This is more like a toy, or glove compartment tool. Not meant to be used for heavy duty and real life situations.

got me 3 pairs of raptors for 15 bucks in the 11.11 aliexpress sale for about 16usd shipped with tax, gonna make the crafty friends happy when they open their presents. they're WELL worth 6 bucks a pair, even missing the lock on the seatbelt cutter. though the black blades look a bit rubbish, stick to the silver blades as they dont look as cheap
