The threaded bit driver mod seems like a good idea, but remember when you use it to loosen something it will also try to lossen from the multitool. As well when you tighten, it will tighten the bit holder into the multi tool just as tight, might be hard to get off afterwards.

Another typical design of a Leatherman for Frontliners with distinct functionality. Not too sure with that long awl with its durability. As for the sheath, yes it's great for small first aid kit, an EDC for minimalist etc. We know of one person who carry an asthma kit in it, looks cool actually. May we suggest either a FRN or Kydex sheath for your Supertool 300? We've got two made, one for Urban & Outback use. Cheers mate for sharing. Greetings from Australia.

That is definitely a cool tool. I feel like the original Super Tool 300 is more general purpose. I've been carrying the Surge outdoors lately and miss the file on the Super Tool 300. The only special purpose tool that I could carry is the thus far, is the Leatherman OHT. Its suppose to be for first responders, EMTs and law enforcement but its very practical for everyday use implement wise. The MUT is cool but too specialized for my liking. I think surge pocket may fit st 300 m comfortably since it an surge are about neck neck in size an weight,maybe slight differences

i wish theyd make a version of this where the file is replaced with the t-shank adapter from the 300EOD. a supertool 300 with bit exchange AND t-shank adapter would be awesome. unfortunately as it stands now the Surge is the only tool that has both....

Is it possible to exchange the saw holder from the EOD version to this one? Like instead of a normal screwdriver or the Philips unit? Seems like with this type of tool it will be easier then for example a surge

Well, now you have to find the 300 eod, take the T-shank adapter out, put in in there. And buy the 300 coyote just for the cool looking handles. :D

I also think they made the sheath to accommodate the adapter kit to fit in there also, because with my bit kit and adapter kit and sight tool, it all fits perfectly..
