No its his keeping style. Incredibly brave at 1 v 1's but it's detrimental to his long term health. Many serious injuries and seems to get concussed a fair bit. Id say drop down to a less competitive league for his last 5 years..well done Eddie and best of luck

That’s not what Pep said though.. He was asked if he was thinking of leaving & he replied I’ve been here 6-7 seasons so I can say I’m closer to leaving than staying. As in he’ll have less than 6-7 more seasons! He also said he will talk to the club in the summer about a contract extension & as long as he felt the players were still hungry he’d happily stay but it depends on them & his feelings of if they can still push on. As for Ederson I’d not be too upset at him going, Ortega deserves to be a No1 but I’ve no doubt City can & would replace him. Back to Pep, I fully expect him to leave summer 2025 & taking several months out before joining NYCFC & staying in the City group. I also think it’s no coincidence Alonso has decided to stay in Germany another yr despite rumour he’d leave. Perfect timing for City maybe? Don’t forget Pep was in place well in advance of joining us! It’s not hard to believe City don’t already have Pep’s replacement lined up. Michel at Gerona is worth looking at too! Another one in the City group already.

Their management needs some top football minds with years of experience and board also needs some members who can run the club efficiently in terms of signing players and preventing the club from making huge financial losses. Man united players don't have access to even proper fitness equipments, the training facility is several decades old, stadium hasn't been renovated for more than 30 years and we can see how the stadium turned into lakes and waterfalls when man united were playing in Old Trafford against Arsenal. Man United have spend over 1.2 billion euros in a span of 10 years and it is dreadful to even ponder that they have only won one europa league within this period. The problem with man united board is that they are singing good players with future potential but with over inflated price. We all know that players like Harry Maguire, Antony,Onana etc are good players and have showed their quality in Leicester City,Ajax and Inter Milan respectively but all these players were needed to sign under 30-35 million euros each. They are getting a lot of injuries. Along with that any one hardly understands the tactics and gameplay adopted by erik ten hag for Man United. Their confidence and work rate is fairly low. It seems like man united needs a complete change in the squad depth. They need to sign some serious young talents and also some players who have good playing ability and can lead these youngsters. In order to start winning premier leagues and major European silverware United will take around 8-10 years considering the fact that they have to update and upgrade the entire Man United system to the levels of Man City.
