There are loads of properties like these even in the UK and US However people want houses they can walk into and sit down and go "done" I have worked in the construction industry for over 20 years now and it saddens me seeing the older properties that are so much better than the new houses, get demolished because they dont look nice or need too much work They dont need much work, just more than most people are willing to give I have nothing but the most high of respects for this man I soent all my years getting the experience only to have my spine het damaged in my 20's which got so bad i can barely walk now Let alone work like this anymore, as i always dreamt of finding an old house for cheap and doing it up That is far out of my reach now though So if all i can do is send good vibes to this guy then i will (Just makes me wish i found some workers as half as good as this guy then i wouldnt have had to exert myself so much haha)

So much lime and loess, no wonder it’s growing and that cement is cheap with all that limestone. A person back in the Neolithic (and any modern flint knacker for that matter) from an other area would be in heaven here. So much raw material and good quality as well.

Why are there so many 'dilapidated and abandoned homes?? It's amazing just how handy every single person that has a video is. Also why do they all do the outside first and not the inside??? Makes no sense!

My understanding is that there was a huge exodus over the last few generations from rural China to the cities (which are HUGE). People's ancestral homes fell into ruin. Now with over crowding there's a big push to try to get the younger generation of workers to move out of the cities and restore rural China.
